Not as good as this deal before, but it's good enough if you have a spare keyboard.

Used?
given "it's good enough if you have a spare keyboard" i would assume people would be okay with a used one, its just a surface keyboard and its less than half the price of one at retail

any wireless/bluetooth combo keyboard/mouse can do the job and it is cheaper than surface keyboard.
@HolyCr4p: well yeah but the whole idea of the surface is for it to be portable (and for the cover to protect the screen when not being used), carrying a bluetooth combo keyboard/mouse defeats the purpose
@dm02: i have that surface keyboard and never use it .
Thanks for the Ads
what do you mean ads its literally just a random ebay listing

Microsoft® Surface Laptop 4 15in R7/16/512 Black
Seems alright as well for $1,450.84
bought this one from last deal, can say it's pretty good.
i'd like to make it dual boot though with windows 11 / android, haven't figured it out yet. but that's a use case.Google search Bliss OS. You can dual boot without wiping Windows partition
I've never had much luck with Android X86 ports, particularly with driver support and app compatibility. But I can recommend a look into the "brunch" framework to run Chrome OS. Not android per-se but gives you access to the play store and pretty much all the apps there.
Wondering if any Linux distros work well with this?

They work ok now
Quick reminder that 128gb of storage and 8GB is not enough for 2023 and onwards unless you are a very basic user.
7+ has upgradable storage but you make a fair point.
16gb and this will be a deal
