    Why not just pay even less $2255 from AOC to get the latest M4 512gb/16gb with extra port instead, unless you are so desperate for internal storage … if this M3 one goes below $2k then will be a better deal …

      these things are long term investments if bought for yourself vs from work, macbook have long lifespan, still have my macbook air intel, only reason to upgrade will be to get into latest OS.

    Bad deal, get the M4 from AOC and save money. The 14” pro has better thermals than m3 too.

    Pretty sure I got the Pro M4 for $200 less when it first came out. That 1TB ver ain't worth the extra dough. So this is no deal.
