Beware those who haven't experienced 30Hz monitor refresh rates before… recommend you try before you buy!

+1, at least with Amazon you can buy, try & return with little to no hassle.

      • Good point. I actually haven't tried returning anything via Amazon - what's your experience been like?

Very easy, just fill in the paper work and drop it off!

I've bought a few of the ones that were branded "Haribol". At first they were Sunvalley products (banned from Amazon) in original packaging. The last was a no-name generic that looked a lot like this one. So long as you don't want to run 4K HDMI they will be fine — they run at 60Hz on 1080p.

Can this work with the Chromecast with Google TV, want to download some more apps but the internal storage is full, looking to use this to expand it

    Thanks in advance

I have tried atleast 4 different brands but none of those worked with the Chromecast with Google TV. Has to have a specific chipset apparently.

  • Does anyone know if it works with iPad Air 4 and >?

    Cheers

  • This works good for the Nintendo switch, too! Doesn't output 4k, so no issues there! Good companion for taking the switch on the move without taking the dock (I leave mine behind the TV and take one of these with the switch when we go on holidays with the kids).
