Instead of the general rate of 6.8 % P.A receive 6.8% instead.
Advantages
the bonus was 8% when I got it. Try typing westpac esaver and see on the sponsored links what it says.
Tried the sponsored link in google. Still no luck.
Sure youre not getting confused with ING Direct? Theyre doing a promo of 8% (which runs out in 2 days!!) and then reverts to 6.1%
Even better is BankWest (AKA Commonwealth Bank). Theyre offering 8.1% until Jan 1st. After that it reverts to the std rate which is currently 6.3%.
Bankwest also offers a 9%pa one (can't have withdrawals, deposit at least $50/month)
No, this is for Westpac. On the ads I've seen it is 6.8%. I found the link, check http://info.westpac.com.au/savings/esaver/westpacesaver/sear…
It's 5.85% (plus 0.95% bonus for the first three months).
Original poster should of said: "Instead of the general rate of 5.85 % P.A receive 6.8% instead."
Im confused. Is the bonus 6.8% or 8%?
The westpac website says the standard rateis 5.85% ???
