Considering the terrible reviews these have gotten on past deals, why do people keep posting it?

This is my 1st post and this has 3 packs for $49 so I have shared it OB looking for bargain.

Who cares how long they've been on site for?
Doesn't mean they've seen or share the same "terrible reviews" that others have had for this power board.
I've had mine for about 2 years now and have had zero issues at all.

@[Deactivated]: Same, got mine for at least a year no issue and hopefully never will

considering I haven't had any issues with em, its pretty good deal….

Got mine from Centrecom a year ago, been using it 24/7 and no problems thus far. If you want something better, spend more.

    • I've not had any issues.

  • Seems like a pretty good deal for ~$16.70 each. Thanks OP.

I have this. It does feel cheap and sockets are a little loose. One would not feel comfortable with it.
I’ll find an alternative soon enough as I am risking expensive equipments

    • I have this and haven't noticed the loose sockets, but then again mine sits in the TV cabinet so nothing to bump or move it around.

      • Try wiggling the plug and compare it to regular boards

Have one of these powering a TV unit worth of items (TV, speakers, PS5, Shield, Chromecast audio via the USB port, and a desktop USB charger for other devices) - haven't had any issues, however it's also connected to a UPS on the other end so this may help..?

It's definitely a bit 'cheap' feeling. Still, has worked fine for… 2+? years.

    • Bad idea. https://www.apc.com/au/en/faqs/FA158852/

Anyway, how is a UPS going to help with build quality?

      • More that the ups can handle brown outs or regulates the voltage so the powerboard doesn't need to. I'm only speculating. I don't know

  • Can anyone recommend a decent surge protected power board other than this. I have a Belkin and it died within a year

      try warranty?

  • I keep seeing bad reviews for this and the Heymix powerboard. Is there a decent 8 port powerboard out there? Ideally one with a regular USB & USB C port

  • Very good price given that I paid $27~ for one, a month ago. No issues yet.

  • Very Good product
I've been using around 3 years no issue.
    Thanks

    appears expired. now $92.

  • I just received mine, don't see any issue with the plug being loose, looks pretty tight to me: https://streamable.com/7f0kef
