Budget special
$14 more than the Amazon UK deal gets you a proper Australian keyboard layout and local retailer support

15.6" FHD IPS-level Panel, LED Backlit, 60Hz, Anti-glare display - nits not available. Cheaper N6000 models have 200nits display so assume this display is 200-250nits
RAM is 4GB soldered + 4GB in slot, upgrade instructions
Highly recommended to replace the 4GB in slot with 8GB for $37 or 16GB for $61.98

    From Asus webpage

    15.6-inch, FHD (1920 x 1080) 16:9, LED Backlit , 60Hz refresh rate, 200nits, Anti-glare display, (Screen-to-body ratio)83%

Is the new budget screen moving from 1366*768 250-300nit to FHD 200nit?

Yeah I'd avoid just for that

Great alternative to a Raspberry Pi

    • Use case? Budget? Technical ability to upgrade RAM?

  • Should be another 10% off from 6pm tonight.

  • Deal updated - price drop to $399

  • Got the laptop for mum. It's a great one for her usage as the screen is a good size. Not too heavy and having a SSD means fast boot time. Comes with Windows 11 as well. For the price I think it's worthwhile (unless you want a chrome book).
