Used to work at an optical retailer, and can confirm Maui Jim's are the best on the Market (better vision then 2nd best Oakley), and they offer a lifetime repair service for a set low fee, and still all handmade in the US. Red Sands definitely the most popular style, real lightweight, light plastic lens. The other one id say on the opposite end of the spectrum is 'The Bird'. Made of titanium and has a glass lens, really solid and surprising not heavy! Never went on sale once in 8 years, amazing deal! (must be a mistake, but I'm sure they'd honour it)

Yeah, could be possible with a massive international retailer like that that can take the loss, but these are sold close to RRP for most re-sellers and receive very few in qty. If a style gets discontinued, they'll hold onto the max. 2 pairs they have of it and be guaranteed to sell at full RRP.
