never been an issue for me, but then adelaide didnt seem to get that issue
Virgin have the same phone on the $49 plan. Bit more data, less calls, first 3 months free
More importantly it's on the Optus network
Whats that work out over 24 months?
$1320 for the plan. minus the $50 Visa and it totals $1270.
I'll still prefer to use it on the Optus network. So Virgin might be a winner.
do you think its beneficial buying the phone outright and a byo contract with tpg or amaysim OR going on a 24 month plan?
Depends how much service you use. If you will use all the service of a $55 plan then go for it. If you're a very light user (though that would be hard with a top-of-the-line smartphone) then probably better to buy outright and get a light plan eg $25 or $29.
@mls1989
Don't forget "Live Connected" in the mix.
If buying outright is too much for you, then the most you be under contract is 12 months from Vodafone, if you intend to use Vodafone. If not, outright!
how do you get first 3 months free Merlict? And I see they have extended the bonus 2gb deal to end of July.
It's not that important at all if you stay in CBD areas. Optus has been having network congestion issues.
I've been on CJ's around Sydney for the last 2 years and no complaints about data (other than it being limited haha). Used it via phone and by tethering.
Vodafone is alright. Just Optus that is having flaky data and dropped calls in CBD areas because of its network congestion issue. It has been so since beginning of last year but it is not as blown up as what caused the class action lawsuit again Vodafone…yet.
samsung galaxy s3 designed for humans,but i dont want to be human.Do you have better deal on other phone like Sony Xperia S?

MODS: can we please implement a pop-up at post time to read "Only mark as freebie if product (or any usable portion thereof) is available without any purchase" to stop reps tagging "Freebie" for something included with a purchase?
Great deal, except for the vodafone coverage….shattered
