[SA] Metrocard with $5 Free Credit for Participating in The Trial - $10 Total Value

30

Adelaide has almost completed replacing their public transport ticketing system with contactless ticketing.

Unlike Melbourne, they have purchased a system off the shelf and kept it simple, and it is already working very well.

Participate in the trial and get a free metrocard (which will cost $5 at the end of the trial) as well as $5 credit loaded on.

Been going for ages almost 3 month now. If u catch public transport and haven't seen the flyers or ppl speak to u then u prob don't catch public transport.

Had mine for over a month now or so

Or more likely you just haven't found out about it due to the terrible way that adelaidemetro actually advertises these things. There is lots of information about the face that it is changing at some point; however this is the first time I've seen anything about trialling the new technology.

+1 for "Unlike Melbourne, they have purchased a system off the shelf and kept it simple, and it is already working very well."

    • I've lived in Melbourne for a few years now, and I used to live in Adelaide. Adelaide only has one "zone". Makes any ticketing changes much easier

    Yep blame others.

New turn styles in the train station. Just about every bus plastered with posters. And new ticketing machines on jut about all trains and buses. If that didn't make u bother to at least ask then Like I said u either don't catch public transport or to in frequently to have been approached by the people on the month long campaign. More likely you just ignored and walked passed them when they were handing out the flyers like most people.
