Same
Yes, Amazon drops the price, it is $25.68 now
I presume these "X" line bits are better quality than the "V" line bits given they are the same price for 20 less pieces?
ultimately if its a green container, its targetted at DIYers. The proline for trades are blue.
This. Don't waste your money on the green kits IMO.
I never knew this. It explains why so many of the cheap Bosch its are a bit shit. I thought they were just making low quality garbage.
I understand why they do it (capture more of the market) but i also think its terrible for their reputation. Sheridan (the bedding company) does the same. Sells high quality bedding/towels via their main brand, and sells target level garbage via their "Sheridan Outlets".
That 91 piece one is only $26.90 atm.
Bosch tools are ok, but their cheap kits are junk. You are better off buying their 'professional' kits. The high speed steel they use is better quality. Will last much longer.
Anyone have a link to the professional kits (blue)? I’m curious about the price
Their 'Professional' sets are smaller, but far better quality. These are some of the sets included in the Black Friday sales. There are more.

I bought this one yesterday for $38, but today the price is $63. Must have sold their quota.

I’d love to grab a few professional sets:
- masonary
- wood
- screwdriver
I’m about to undertake a kitchen renovation and need to upgrade my existing drill kits
Are the sets above the ones you’d recommend? Or are there others you think would be better
@SirFrankGrimes: From this sale, for wood, this Bosch set would be good. The Brad Point stops the bit from wandering and scratching the surface when you start;
You might also consider a tile drilling set for attaching fixtures to tiles. These are ok.
But if you use a hardened stone tile (like I did) then you are better off grabbing a singular diamond-core drill bit.
@Ge3ks: Great, thanks. Any recommendations for drilling into concrete/brick?
@SirFrankGrimes: Yeah there are a few masonary kits in the Bosch sale. This one is decent;
Deal of the day: Bosch Professional 7-Piece CYL-9 Multipurpose Drill Bit Set (Multi Construction, Ø 4-12 mm, Accessories for Drills with Round Shank Drill Bit Socket) https://amzn.asia/d/gyBhhHi
@Ge3ks: Cool, thanks.
Thoughts on this set?

Made just for masonary, compared to the above set which is multipurpose
@SirFrankGrimes: Yeah they're good.
Is it me or I see it even cheaper at $25.68
