The Advance Move Convertible Car Seat features three modes of use - Rearward Facing up to a large 12-month-old, Forward Facing with an internal harness for children up to a large 4-year-old and then as a Booster Seat for use with the vehicles lap & sash seatbelt up to a large 8-year-old.

Featuring nine levels of recline, an adjustable headrest, and Air Cocoon Technology (A.C.T.), which enhances side impact protection and dramatically reduces the impact forces during a crash, your child is sure to love the InfaSecure Advance!

The Pinch Test

Because safety always has and is the number one priority for your little ones, a means of quickly checking whether your child's car seat or capsule harness is tight enough is a must. This is where the Pinch Test comes in.

To begin, first adjust your childs harness to be nice and firm by pulling the harness adjuster at the front of the seat. Once this is done, try to pinch the harness at your child's upper chest or shoulder. If you can't pinch it the harness is fitted correctly and you're good to go. If you can pinch the harness then try to tighten it again, and repeat this process until you can no longer pinch it. This method is both simple and quick and can be done every time you put your child in their car seat!

  • I would probably get a seat that is harnessed to 8 rather than 4.

  • just started looking at this stuff - any idea how this compares to britax? also doesn't seem to have isofix which looks to be the easiest way to install?

    • +3

You won’t get isofix for the larger rated seats. It can only be used for seats that go up to 4yo.

A seat that can be harnessed to 8yo is safer than a seat that is a booster after 4yo.

Britax and infasecure both make good seats, this isn’t one of them.

Depending on the age of your child, find a 0-4 extended rear facing seat like a brava, Graphene or Quattro. If older, the maxi guard pro is a good option.

      • my child is 3yo now, and he has been with forward facing since 1.5yo. Could you recommend one? We don't have the plan to have another one, so I don't need a rear-facing one.
        Thanks

Maxi guard pro is harnessed to 8, it’s a good seat. I think infasecure is about to have a sale too and they do have a few seats that will harness to 8yo as well
