Been looking for one of this for AC control for awhile and seems like a decent price after the discounts if you aren't an Origin Spike customer.

More discounts if you buy multiple units by the looks of it.

Just buy an ir blaster and control multiple devices. Most have if/then and timer controls built in eg: broadlink (currently using for mine). Was about half the price of this.

Integration with home assistants is what you are paying for here.

I used the broadlink for a while and switched to the Sensibo. The Sensibo app is so much better than the Broadlink and the controls work better in the HA integration for me than Broadlink.

The Sensibo also recognises if you've used the aircon remote to manually turn the AC on/off or change temperature or modes. The app and HA would be updated accordingly.

        Agree with @eug here.

I was impressed how well it works with home assistant, feeding back when the wife uses the remote is worth the price tag for sure.

Thanks op, was looking for this for a while but could not justify the price previously.

  • Great price. Have been after another one and waiting for a good deal. Yes it's more expensive than an IR blaster, but being able to schedule actions based on temperature in the actual room is worth that extra in my opinion.

Still has the storm grey version so just updated the link directly to that instead.

  • Was hoping for white but settled on grey, been waiting for a little while for these to control our split systems (both remotely and via Home Assistant) to make the most of our solar power output during the day. Almost bought in their sale yesterday but glad I held out, thank you!

  • I bought one a few years ago. Key features are locked behind a paywall which they advertise without making that clear. Check it out

Personally felt robbed with this item. Just make sure what you’re in for and do some research so u don’t feel like I did.

    Otherwise it works well.

  • Both OOS now.

  • I have one. They limited the software too much. It is mainly an on /off machine with location services.
They ask you to pay for an expensive subscription for any meaningful automation.

  • Managed to get two this morning.

  • Bought a few. Still 8 available.

  • I am finding this thing to be a nightmare to set up - always fails on the initial firmware update step, have restarted iPhone and router, even tried mobile hot-spotting to another iPhone.

Is anyone else having issues setting it up?
