          Filter is at Luckymi and probably other sellers. It's a new release so it hasn't gained the popularity the 3H has.

          BFPURIFY doesn't apply to filters. I got the same error message.
          It was automatically applied to the air purifier I bought.

    Is there a reason to by bigger Air Purifier unit (Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite) over Compact model for a small room?
    Better filters? Longer filter service?

    I wonder if any of these would help to reduce smell of food after cooking?

      I just saw that the compact air purifier room size recommendation is based on 2 ACPH (Air changes per hour) - an Australian Standard house is usually around 10-15 ACPH - 2 is close to passive house standard. So I guess the compact air purifier is for far smaller rooms.

      Just checked the review, the Air Purifier 4 is slightly better than 4 Lite in terms of filter efficiently. They do reduce food cooking smell but don't expect anything significant.

      You need to look at things such as CADR (clean air delivery rate), noise levels (vs CADR), types of filters. Carbon filters trap gas/smell particles. HEPA filters trap pm2.5 particulates that can damage your health but don't do much for smells. A smaller unit will need to run at high speed/high noise to do the same amount of filtration as a larger unit. Bigger fans generally push more air at lower noise. Larger filters can trap more particulates over the same time period, etc…

      This is a good summary of many different air purifiers with information on cadr/noise/costs. Not all filters are included, specifically those with ion generators that are considered to provide dubious health benefits and some would consider them unhealthy.

    Just bought the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact EU for $47 (after $22 automatic discount from Xiaomi and $80 eBay voucher for signing up to eBay Plus).
    Had to return faulty air purifier to Kmart and hope the Xiaomi one works.

    Compared to Roborock S5 Max and Uoni V980 Plus would there be a recommended one if they were all the same price?

      UV for ultraviolet light. Just has a UV light on the bottom.

    @Clear FRIBLK22 still works on the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact EU for AU $116.22.
    Also applies to the filter. I contacted Xiaomi who advised to use FRIBLK22.
    BFPURIFY has expired which was for the purifiers but not the filters.

    I paid extra for express postage knowing that there has been a 2-weeks delay in the Parcel Post network. no updates on the tracking after more than a week.

    Lodged and heard back from Australia Post that the seller didnt sign the 'Aviation Security and Dangerous Goods Declaration' and so the parcel cannot be carried by air.

      I'm in Perth and the seller sent my compact air purifier by train on 21 Nov. No updates since 24 Nov due to rail network disruptions. I only found out it's not by air mail when I received the train notification.

              @PissLUR: Aus Post staff usually check that parcel is signed when I've lodged at the counter. Not sure how seller lodged the parcels.
