Amazing price point! Highly recommend at this price point. Whether its for gaming or productive work. Extremely comfortable :)
I didnt like the shape tho, prefer the G603/MX518 weight. But the weight is amazing!
G603/MX518 shape*
Personal preference, different for everyone! But good to hear your opinion for others to refer to :))
Is this mouse worth it over the regular G502 Lightspeed?
Would also like to know!
superlight > everything
Depends what you’re after in a mouse. I got it because of how light it is but now there’s heaps of those in the market at a lower price point. Some wired and others wireless
yes sir
I have been using both G502 and superlight for over a year now.
- G502 better ergonomics but heavier, can toggle 3 custom dpi settings
- superlight wayyy lighter but generic shape/ergonomic
I personally like the superlight due to being light, it's very hard to go back to a heavier mouse
Thank you!
Atleast in my G603 running on a single AAA battery with AA adapter to make it light, I still find myself using the superlight. Reason being how quickly you can move the mouse. Especially with lots of browsers open, moving between open tabs feels a bit more effortless and quick. You can deduce the gaming performance from that.
Copped the white, thanks!
Bought the black, thanks op
What make this so expensive? Not ergonomics at all, so must be something else
Nothing in this mouse that should make it cost even 100$. Its all markenting hype. What makes a mini itx case and mobo more expensive when they have less material? Same applies here. Does not even take lot of engineering or R&D to make these lighter.
Mini itx cases/mobos are expensive since they're super low volume parts, no economies of scale and they need to be priced higher to offset production/development costs, material cost isn't everything.
There's still nothing in the market that matches gprox weight+battery+sensor that doesn't have honeycomb cut-outs or isn't made of magnesium (finalmouse which is magnitudes more expensive). Only exception being viper v2 pro which is still recent and more expensive. The shape of gprox is kinda 'boring' but it's one that'll fit most people out of the box.
I agree with you on economies of scale, but it doesnt necessarily apply to everything. Think of NR200. There are plenty of cabinets that are cheaper than NR200 yet get sold less than NR200. Similar thing applies to motherboards.
Regarding the mouse, I saw a video where people even goto the extent of cutting out parts of the Superlight to make it furhter lighter, replace thier switches with better ones and replace the scroll wheel altogether to finally make it even better. These are not designers, they are ordinary people. I am pretty sure Logitech wouldnt have faced as much problem as desining any other good mouse in thier lineup. Yet this one costs 200$ RRP.

https://twitter.com/g_wolves/status/1592022239217876993Viper v2 pro is also objectively better
It's a mouse for gamers or specifically FPS gamers since it's lightweight and helps with aiming. I don't recommend buying this mouse for office work since it's not ergonomic and may be uncomfortable.
Totally agree with the shape of the mouse.
Its a Micro USB instead of USB C charging port btw if that's a deal breaker like it is to me
It comes with a custom cable with proper latch to hook into place. Does not really matter if its micro or usb c between the hooks. Atleast for me.
is it just me or does logitech have alot of wireless mouses
