Any opinions on the 2c pro?
Im thinking of getting the Homebase and 3 cameras for $629. Does the battery really last 100+ days? I would love to not have to hire an electrician to install cameras, so the battery is very appealing.
It depends on how much activity it records. In a low traffic area I'd say it could last 100 days. I have one in the backyard that records a few events a day and I haven't charged it for a few months. My doorbell, on the other hand, records every coming and going of the house and I have to charge it once a month or so.
I have the 2C Pro, and its great.
Battery definitely does not last the 6 months - you might if you had motion detection turned all the way down, detecting human only, spotlight off and no notifications.
My busy areas require charging of the cameras once every 1-2 months.
All round a great camera but, with good image quality.
The spotlight on the 2C Pro is definitely worth the extra for the image quality at night.
FYI price is now down to $156 both amazon and officeworks with the 2 piece 2cpro going down to $343. I bought the 2 piece set last night at $429 and just rebought at $343.
Can this be used on its own or do you need the home base?
