  • what are the differences between the KP3S and this KP3S Pro?

    • +1

While the KP3S Pro inherits a lot of features from the earlier released KP3S 3D printer, such as the titan direct drive extruder, TMC2225 silent stepper driver, 2.4 inch resistive touch screen, cantilever style design, I think the most significant difference can be their different print volumes. KP3S Pro prints max 200200190mm object, while KP3S prints 180180180mm object. It means we get more space to create on all the three axis of the newly released KP3S Pro.

The second obvious change is that the KP3S Pro has linear guide rails on X-axis and Z-axis while the KP3S has X and Y-axis linear guide rails instead.

The third difference I admire is that the new KP3S Pro has built-in switching power supply placed inside the printer base. This makes the printer much neater and brings convenience when placing or moving the printer. No need to consider where to put the independent switching power supply as the KP3S.
