      done!

  • I am not currently using any Sim racer, but am intending to try down the track.

Does anyone on here use iRacing?

From looking into reviews, apparently it's quite expensive as the subscription fee merely gives you access and a minimum amount of tracks and cars?

One review stated about a $1500 investment to get serious in this Sim……that's just the game, no components, wheels, rig etc.

    Anyone got experience to share?

    • I was serious into iRacing about 7 years ago and reckon I spent upwards of $1000 on content/subscriptions. Even though I dont play anymore (mostly due to lack of time) I still dont think I would call that as bad investment. Had heaps of fun and learned a lot of new styles of racing. All that being said $1000+ is stupid amount of money to invest into a game when ACC/Automobilista/rFactor exist for $60ish

      • I agree with you on that! New sim racers should consider the other cheaper options. Come back to iRacing when you want to compete seriously (ranked).
