MORE STOCK SECURED AGAIN - PLEASE NOTE BONUS STOCK STILL APPLIES HOWEVER BRAND OF BONUS STOCK HAS CHANGED FROM PHARMACY ACTION TO DR REDDYS BRANDED CETIRIZINE or LORATADINE

Hi Ozbargainers,

I'm running dual offers tonight as a bit of a trial - not sure if the format will work but here we go!

Mometasone is near on impossible to source in volume at the moment so none of the suppliers are running offers of deals, I am running down my stock in order to pay some bills this week, I've assembled 50x sets ready to go.

Nexcid was offered to me at a deep discount by our new Trust rep as they are clearing stock in anticipation of newer stock arriving, I know this product isn't for everyone but those who rely on it are always grateful for a discount, as the item never goes this low - I've got 200x boxes ready to go tonight for Ozbargainers. (note the exp date is 04/23, but regular users of this medication shouldn't have an issue with the dating)

  • Geez, a nasal spay.

  • Nasal Spay

    Will this prevent sneezing indefinitely?

  • Not sure if this is the same nasal spray my missus keeps asking me to use.

    • +1

      Try Flixonase instead.

  • Perfect timing. Nasonex has completely removed my severe hay fever.

Also use Visine Allergy Eye drops and I haven't had red eyes since.

  • What is the expiry on the nasal sprays?

    • From the post - (exp on the Seneseas is 11/23)

  • Doesn't the Nexium need a script?

    • +1

Nope. It gets prescribed but is OTC. IMO it shouldn't be OTC.

      • It's effectively just an antacid (completely different mechanism of action though). It can upset your gut if you take too high a dose (intestines don't like sudden pH changes).

It works out cheaper if you can obtain a prescription, even more so if you have a coveted health care card.

I use it's "cousin" lansoprazole since I have acid reflux. In addition to the occasional heartburn, you still have to worry about re-fluxed stomach acid wearing away your teeth.

        • Took it for a few years then try to get off - extremely painful for nearly 3 months even after weaning off to lower doses as the stomach is now producing an excess of acid. Drinking water in the morning was enough to trigger severe heartburn & reflux. No one told me about it either, not the GP nor specialist. Now I try to be careful with what I eat & limit it to 1-2 meals a day.

          • +1

@Tuftsdude: Same. I took it for 2 years at which point my acid was coming back anyway as i had gotten use to it. Found out how bad it can be for you, and spent 3-6 months with some of the woirst reflux of my life as a weaned off it. I avoid it at all costs now - the rebound is usually worse then the reflux I wanted to treat.

  • Loratadine is all out of stock 😔

  • Damn spray is sold out 😔

    • Change the bonus item to lorastyne.

  • +1

With the code - Nasonex is cheaper here ($40 for 3 bottles, $80 for 6) compared to Chemist Warehouse ($30 for 2, $90 for 6)

Without the code - Nasonex is cheaper at CW ($30 for 2, $90 for 6) than here ($50 for 3, $100 for 6)

    Correct me if I'm wrong?

  • I’m pretty sure I’d be happy with the dual nasonex for $30.. name brand and better expiry dates!

  • Can you use Nasonex spray and take the tablet at the same time?

  • As a longtime Nexium user this is a good price for PPI. Although on prescription, I get the 40mg tablets and snap them in half for slightly cheaper. Talking a few cents per tablet.

  • All items packed - whatever is left in stock has been re-added to deal

  • I only wish if they have Otrivin on special :) Hope the OP can post a deal

  • which one is best for bad hay fever, with Very itchy red eyes and cough ???

    • Hey mate,

Try Nasonex nasal spray for nose and Visine Allergy Eye drops.

I get very bad hay fever with blood red eyes and cough and blocked nose. The relief was almost instant and I haven't had hay fever at all since taking them

    • Immunotherapy. Go see allergen specialist

    • i have Dymista & Avamys nose spray and Claratyne tablets and Patanol eye drops, , i don't know if they stopped working on me

  • Hey mate got plenty of tablets off you last week, any deals with sprays alone or sprays + paracetemol?

    • +1

I'll see what I can do in a future deal, at the moment Mometasone is near on impossible to get at a good price, the only reason I can bundle the extra items with this deal as they were provided to me to bundle with a different brand of mometasone which was never supplied - sad irony that for Pharmacy Action that I got the bonus stock but not the actual item I ordered ;-(

  • What's the code for the hay fever trio, please?

    • Code: action

  • @jason101 what are the expiry dates for chemist own cetrizine and dr Reddy? Also do I use the same discount code from the above?

    • Dr Reddys Cetrine 70box (or 140) = 02/24
      Chem Own 70box (or 140) = 11/24

  • Hmm just ordered but the invoice shows original amount and not the $39.99. Have emailed to confirm.

    • Hi - I cannot see any emails - did you contact us via the customer service email - please refer to our website for the correct email address or PM via Ozb, thanks Jason

      • +1
