Hi Ozbargainers,

I really thought I'd just throw 1 deal per week at Ozbargain for a few weeks and see how we went to boost our other online sales channels, but after the last Cold & Flu deal, which was pretty unsuccessful https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/550485 during the week, I thought I better follow up quickly with something worthwhile.

This is the first time we've featured this product on Ozbargain and like always I've worked pretty hard with our suppliers rep (Thanks S.) to get the BEST price in Australia exclusively for Ozbargainers. We've actually had TELEPHONE calls to the shop from Ozbargainers asking for a deal on this - something I thought I'd never experience. After beating other pharmacies off with a stick to secure stock at the right price, tonight - we're ready to go on Loratadine!

Loratadine is a rapid acting antihistamine that provides 24 hour relief, it is only ONCE daily dosing.

Thanks OP, I've never felt so popular.

Can't speak to this particular product but based on past experience OP products, service, speed of delivery, communication and product quality are A+.

Thanks - when you've a 1 man band working against Chemist Warehouse, you have to really try your best !

      • +2

        You are doing awesome, Jason.
Great service, you will get there with this level of service.

      • Great service received here too and quick delivery!

      • Hi Jason, sorry not a hayfever sufferer. But I'm very curious about how you do this? Isn't it pretty much impossible to compete with their bulk buying power sadly?

        • Bulk buying power doesn't always mean savings for the customer it can mean more profits for the seller also they don't sell a lot of generics ie: they only sell voltaren 25mg 30's usually $12.99 the generic Diclofenac 25mg I can usually get for between $8.99 & $10.99

    • +2

Can vouch for that too. Had great experience buying from OP

  • +3

Bought Loratadine from OP. Super speedy delivery, packets included for verification and long expiry.

It's great for me as the only alternative is Sudafed and filling in the paper work for tablets is just a pita.

    • +4

Oh thanks for reminding me - the exp on the Loratadine in this deal is: 05/22

  • +1

People who have allergies and take this regularly, are there any side effects or down sides?
I get some hayfever, but usually just soldier on most days, with a sudafed once in a blue moon.

    • +6

No downsides. I've taken for years.

      • +4

Likewise - I've taken loratadine every day for years, having previously tried other antihistamines… this works best for me, and I've never noticed any side effects. Only thing I've noticed is if I don't take it for a few days, then the symptoms of hayfever tend to kick in.

        • wow, poor bastard. I've been lucky in that the only time i've had it it's been a fleeting thing.

    • +1

I take antihistamines when my allergies flare up or I feel like I’m going to have a bad day. Usually once a week. I was always worried about taking antihistamines so often but my BIL who is a pharmacist said there’s no harm in taking antihistamines every day, so I’m not so worried now.

    • +1

If I haven't had it for ages I'll get very tired.

i have to take 3 to shower (blame my allergies for being upset BY SHOWERING).

Works. Stops runny nose and eyes being sad.

note: not this loratadine, generally the one from woolworths.

      • +2

        That really sucks :(

        • It's a bum! I'm used to it, it happens every now and then - blame my eczema for it lol.

    Any deals on generic Valium?!

  • Thanks OP! Fantastic price and expiry date of 05/22 is great. We just ordered :)

  • Hey OP, is this better for mozzue bites than Fexofenadine? Thanks

    • I asked our resident Pharmacist - in his view they are all equal, having said that Fexo is the Ozbargain favourite.

  • Hi OP, do you have Desloratadine ?

    • +1

Let me see what I can do for the next deal - Is this popular, to be honest I don't think its one of our regular store lines..

      • Desloratadine makes me less dizzy (but again i know antihistamines works differently on individuals)

    Next overdose sorted

    • +4

      Why is that bad?

  • Hey jason101, do you have any Sudafed pe equivalent? (Not cold and flu). Thanks

    • Instore only ;-(

  • +2

Hi rep, just wanted to ask if Trust Loratadine will make me drowsy?
    I just bought it 🤦‍♂️

Thanks rep, and Pharmacy Savings for your awesome deals, and customer service
It's so great to see a new rep, associate, etc posting real bargains and not advertising spam!

    • +1

Howdy, this is - Non Drowsy

      • Awesome thanks for the fast reply rep - A+ 😄

  • Op, is it possible to order 100 tabs of Trust Loratadine instead of 200?

  • Thanks OP, Telfast sorted

  • Thanks OP, amazing price.

  • What's the difference between Telfast Zyrtec and Claratyne?

    • +1

      https://telfast.com.au/allergy-advice/telfast-vs-claratyne-z…

Different people report differing results using different medications - so I'm not sure there is a "correct" answer.

    • For me, after a lot of trial and error, I find loratadine works best for me. I think it depends on the individual.

  • Which one is strongest for hay fever?

  • +3

Thanks mate, bought the loratidine. Good price. Happy to help a non-corporate as well. Don't like big corporates and the way they force out local businesses.

  • I'm skeptical of putting no-name antihistamines within my body every day so even though this is a good deal I still want to pay for the originals for safety…

    • +4

You know they all come from the same factories in India with the same base ingredients generally from China?
God, if it wasn't for India's policy around medicine patents, we wouldn't have half the affordable medicine we do.

      • My box of Claratyne is made in Belgium and each tablet is shaped different as well.

    • +1

Hospitals use generic. They are all generally the same. In my view, if hospitals give out generic medications, then it’s safe enough to use.
FWIW where I worked, the loratidine we used was by Trust. I had to give that to a patient who was having anaphylaxis and alongside with a whole bunch of other treatments, the Trust Loratidine helped in the initial stages. But to each of their own.

      • I use Loratadine by Trust for a few years now, it's fine just as good as Claratyne imo. Small tablet pretty much the same as Claratyne to me. I always get generic medicine when I can, these days only loratadine and desloratine (Aerius) works for me. Can't seem to find generic Aerius though, it's expensive.

  • +1

Thanks so much mate much appreciated, I’ll grab my next box of fexo in about a month when my supply gets a little lighter!

  • +2

Do you have generic propecia, finasteride?

    • Yes - but currently very inefficient to process prescriptions remotely ;-(

  • +1

Any deals for over the counter herbal / vitamins / supplements? Coles and Woolies have 50% off on some of them regularly but I was wondering if you have any special deals.

  • I bought this brand 120 tabs for $15 from ebay in the past. Good brand.
I am now trying Ginger supplements got 360x 750mg tablets from Piping Rock for $12.
It seems to work well, however I feel I need to take 2 or 3 a day, with Loratidine 1 tablet would be good enough for 24 hours.

  • Good stuff, very cheap compared to the usual claratyne brand. Just got some, cheers!

  • Thanks OP! Got the Hayfexo last time but we normally mix it up on a monthly basis so grabbed some loratadine!

  • Great experience like others with this seller. Unfortunately out of stock of Loratadine.

    • More stock added 14/7

  • Does anyone know if fexos ever come in the tiny tablet type?

The ones I bought recently are large being fexofenadine hydrochloride

    • Everything we've had in stock lately is the really large tablets.

  • Hi OP, I just missed out :( Can i please add more 200 X Loratadine? There are still some left for 100 count for Loratadine but the code doesn't work unfortunately. Thanks!

    • More stock added 14/7

    Is this effective against covid?

  • Where is the Fexit made?

  • +2

Thanks OP purchased the Loratadine. Have ordered a couple of things previously and service and product has been fantastic. Keep up the great work!

    • Where do you enter the coupon code :(

      • Click through to the end of the checkout and should be a section to enter top right.

        • Thanks mate found it eventually haha.

First time I've across this pharmacy but sure to keep it bookmarked as will buy from them in future.

          Pretty big savings!

    • did they restock Loratadine? I was keep checking since 10am this morning, but showing sold out for 200 tablets or maybe keep missing out everytime they did.

      • I ordered last night, not sure if has been restocked since then.

      • +2

Hang in there, I'm trying to secure more stock at the same price. We still have some stock left but I cannot sell it at the lower price due to our buy price being higher on those units. I'll PM and update the deal if we can get more stock in for this price later in the week.

      • +2

Hi Baba you have private messaging turned off - more stock added

        • +1

Hi Jason! Thank you for adding more stock and I have ordered just then on website.

  • Is there generics that are suitable for kids? I’ve been using kids Zyrtec for my 8 year old and wouldn’t mind looking at alternatives.

  • +1

Bring a truck with this stuff to Canberra on the first week of September. Will sell like hot cakes.

  • +1
