Not sure if this is a very specifically targeted deal (at best), or a hoax entirely (at worst), since there is no trace of it on the app. Counter staff had no clue about this and told me there is no other promotion besides their sour-themed range of drinks.
It amazes me how successful this brand is. They use cheap apple juice, the stuff you see in 2 litre bottles on the shelf, not the refrigerated section in supermarkets. And it costs about 2.50 for 2 litres. So they would be buying in bulk for about 1.50 or less for two litres. Which means you get about 40 cents of cheap apple juice as a base and about 40 cents of other ingredients. And get charged about $9 for it. It’s really a very sick joke. And even sicker every time i see the founder on that tv show with mr Saccharine.
