From the 20th October until the 30th October, KFC will be doing an app exclusive promotion with a new deal appearing in the app at 1pm AEDT every day. There will be 11,000 available each day so you have to be quick in order to get the deal.

If you get one… but limited to 1000 is like 1 per store across Australia, so many more can get the McDonalds deals. And financially will cost KFC less as they're only discounting 1000.
wow didnt see the 1000 limit. I guess with 100 or 200 thousand app downloads this is really a 1 in 100-200 chance of getting it. More like a competition than a deal.

I wonder who to report to, because I've had chicken that was too salty or the skin was too "soggy", etc.
@whyisave: Has nothing to do with cooking, it's extremely rare a store would deviate from the typical process and even if so it would be temporary. The variation you're seeing is due to bad oil, bad flour or bad holding times. Online complaints will see a reply.

Yeah. The old app was great. Was simple to use and just did what it needed to do. The new one is bloated and slow and sucks. What a waste of effort

Pfft. Not wasting my time. The only lottery I'm entering tomorrow is Powerball. The new KFC app is shite… no more of those $4-6 discounts for not coming for a week. I've moved on to Red Rooster until KFC see the error of their ways and beg me to come back.

Come to think of it this is such a stingy offer. 1000 per day is like $3k worth of food at cost price. $3k a day for a nationwide promo is not enough. I hope it backfires and they get bad publicity from the thousands who miss out each day.
Go bucket days they'll still be making money off that 1000 while people think they got a good deal. Sliders were sold at a profit for $2. So really, we're looking at maybe $20k all up?
$20k is pretty cheap to get thousands of people to use an app nobody wants to use. 10 days should be just long enough for people to start developing a habit to use it.
Going by the awful app they don't care about bad publicity. If it were my business I'd have restored the previous version and told the developers to either fix it in one week or they don't get paid (and then found someone else).

I find the Hungry Jacks app is easily the best app for ease, speed, intuitiveness. Gold standard. Compared to Maccas which is so frustrating every time.

Meh..the HSBC card that comes with a Freq values membership gives BYGOF of Zingers, Twisters etc. So around $3 each anyway.

They just did a big app update/ overhaul. Maybe try updating the app.
Also, you need to use the membership number HSBC sent in the email. None of your other details will work (ie email address registered with HSBC etc). Has to be that number to log in.
It's a shocker of an app, but once you get your head around it (save all the good things to your favourites), it becomes much easier to use.

This is definitely just to incentivise people to use their new app. They hope after you use it repeatedly for 10 days you'll be more used to it and not hate as much. Only days they'll be losing money is on burger, twister and nugget days but x1000 isn't much.
