From the 20th October until the 30th October, KFC will be doing an app exclusive promotion with a new deal appearing in the app at 1pm AEDT every day. There will be 11,000 available each day so you have to be quick in order to get the deal.

If it's the same box as regular chips, the box is only about 8cm high.
I remember when i bought the $10 pack, I was expecting a decent size and was stunned at how small that was, I presume the regular is a lot smaller.

Tips: If you got an error msg, says you've "have reached the maximum" when you press redeem (your first time of the day of course), try to log out and log back in again.
I managed to get rid of that error by doing so.

Yeah I got it as a snack on the way home and tbh only worth a dollar at most. Outside was oily, inside was dry. Not much flavour besides salt, which just enhanced the grease.

If this is the receipt offer, afaik you can't redeem it for online orders unless I missed something?
You can go to the counter and say you want to add the survey receipt on top of your order, then ask for your online order receipt for the next order.
I tried that once when they first added app ordering and they said they couldn't do it. Might need to try again.
@matt15: I think it's different from store to store, I have 1 receipt with the code and have used it in multiple locations + the online app order with pickup delivery, 1 accept and 1 didn't. :) I like to try and test my luck , thought I add, I did get $1 meal the other day :)
@Pootietang: Amazes me, you are forced to identify yourself as a person that does the survey . Yet you still have 50% chance of receiving worse service because the teen serving you has attitude and you made his job harder. Plus there's no reason to actually do the survey as the codes aren't identifiable. The whole survey process need an overhaul and should be linked to the App.
@tonka: Meanwhile a certain KFC knows my order so well they see me walking up and already start punching in the survey chips and drink lol. They would've probably let it slide for the Twister today but I didn't want to just take advantage of people's niceness.
If it was linked to app, they would still see on the slip which wouldn't really solve anything if they had attitude.
@pennypincher98: Lol, the dude at my kfc demanded I hand over my phone so he could search the history on it and make sure it wasn't faked. Then refused to honor it when I said no. (This was middle of covid lock downs in drive through).

No, the $4.95 is for your current purchase to use the survey. You cannot spend $1 and say I want to add the survey drink and chips on top.
But your $1 spend will still get a receipt with survey amount on it.
I don't even bother keeping receipts any more, works with seemingly any detail in the last 3 days.

At 02:16 UTC today, I paid for an order and received an order number but then the app froze on the "I'm inside the restaurant" screen after I turned the display off before arriving at the store to click that button.
The "I'm inside the restaurant" button was greyed out and it looked like the app had hung - the store didn't receive the order, and I couldn't even click on Cancel order in the app.
However, I figured out that force closing the app (Android, recent apps > swipe the app away) and then reopening got it to process once I opened the app back up to see my order history.
It took until 02:30 UTC that my order was processed, in between me speaking with the poor cashier and store manager in trying to figure out whether they had received my order or not.
I'm forever amazed by how consistently bad all fast food apps are - I suppose this is why they're willing to give deals out to us alpha-testers.
Did you receive an email after your order?
I usually just show them the email as proof when the app is not working.
Yeah I got an email at 02:16 UTC that day but didn't think to check since the app itself said my order went through since I thought it'd show up on their system somewhere - it was all pretty confusing.

Yeah, they changed something. It got smaller too. Since they changed it to Twister crunch last year and removed the tomato, I've gone to KFC a lot less. Which was already a lot less due to them taking away the Works burger.

Interesting, so either you never tasted KFC in the '80's….or your taste buds have also aged 40 years. So logically it's impossible to 'report' your information as fact and should phrase it more as speculation. Here is a fact though. Many years ago KFC did change their recipe for ethical reasons, it was reported by those with actual before and after experience (using comparably aged taste buds) that the taste was less 'beautiful' after the change.

@tharlow: Still, my logic is flawed. Both parties can actually be correct on all points. Although your point seems to be phrased as opposing, it's actually not. I'm gonna say it tasted better as well though, before they switched out the palm oil. But I was also a kid and KFC was less obtainable and my protein cravings were likely more intense.
No your wrong. The chips, potato n gravy, the bread buns, kfc bucket full of juicy chicken and that tasty skin. I can still taste it in my mind. Same with McDonald's and Red rooster. They all taste horrible now. My taste buds are the same. Quality of foods has fallen over the decades.
Macca's breakfast used to be so much better. It was awesome now it's barely edible. I have order without an egg and go home and add my own to avoid the reheated rubber offering. The rest all seems reheated and rubbery as well. Red Rooster is staging a comeback but food got so bad I reckon they've done the brand some damage.
