From the 20th October until the 30th October, KFC will be doing an app exclusive promotion with a new deal appearing in the app at 1pm AEDT every day. There will be 11,000 available each day so you have to be quick in order to get the deal.

So this happened yesterday, I got the $1 Zinger but couldn’t make time to visit KFC until 7pm.
Technically that shouldn’t be a problem, right?
Now at the drive through window, they informed me that you “already picked up the order, why are you here again?”.
I didn’t, so I asked for the invoice and he produced one that stated my order was picked up at 2:30pm.
It didn’t help that the guy was rude, he then said, “I’ve given you the invoice just contact KFC and they’ll refund you your $1”. WOW
What did it say in your app? Technically you should only click the "I'm inside the restaurant" right before you pickup, not after you make the payment.
I clicked "at the drive through now" only when I reached the store around 6.55pm
I showed the same thing to the guy at the window, he said I don't know, all I can see is this order has been picked up.
Order history in my app says 6.55 for this order, but the invoice he handed me says 2.30
I won't be trusting this app with more than one dollar. Thank you.
Maybe its a glitch with the new version of the app that dropped about a week ago, I hate it anyway, ugly, disorganized & much harder to navigate than the old version. I don't think there was anything wrong with old one & 'if it ain't broke why fix it' comes to mind with this update.
I had exactly the same problem, but the manager reluctantly gave me my zinger anyway as I was holding up the traffic.
So for my next order I picked up the zinger by quoting the order number without pressing the buttons.
I then explained my previous problem to the server and said I wanted to see what happened when I pressed the buttons.
As expected it would not let me proceed.
By a fluke the girl then explained that she remembered my previous order and that she had accidentally processed it against another zinger order earlier in the afternoon.
There was then a shift change and although she left a message for the next shift as to what had happened it didn't get through.
Maybe something like that happened with your order.
That's the only possible explanation, a human error. It's understandable you know, stuff happens! But my major gripe was how the staff handled it and I quote "why are you here again?" left me flabbergasted.
How tf did it change my KFC location lol, I just confirmed it

Mine wasn't even wrapped lol. The wrapper was all that was holding it together and even that wasn't properly wrapped.
Size wise though still seems bigger than McDonald's.

Depends on location. Some states a Go Bucket is $4.95

I just show them a screenshot of an old survey validation code on my phone.
Yep, just usually say, "have order on the app #***"
And then add
"Can I have the free srink and chips on the survey cod with that one too please"
Show them the survey code and pick up your drink at the first window, and check you have your chips at the second window before driving away.
How many times that's happened is beyond a complaint, it's just an expectation now
