  Hmmm, how good are these? I envisage it having limited use; only on a flat ledge, surface must be reasonably smooth etc? Is it any match for the mighty Joby Gorillapod? Gorillapod on Amazon special right now too fyi.

  I've owned this and it's decent-good, the ballhead kind of lets it down a bit.
