  • I finally see mine. 14/10.

Signed up with the $5 annual deal and got the $20 voucher. Just got the $80 voucher too somehow. $95 bucks profit thanks ebay!

    • +1

I have $15 pending cashback @ SB on top of these.

    • Lucky! Usually $5 is for 1 month subscription and the $80 voucher was for 1 year subscription. Was this another deal or you managed to get the $80 without paying $49 for the year?

      • +1

Was from the $5 annually in this deal

        • Wow, that's an amazing deal.

  • I've just gotten it but my brother hasn't

  • I just got mine too!

  • Got 80$ voucher.
But it cannot be used along with black Friday discount codes of FRIBLK20 or FRIBLK22.

    • +1

No. eBay codes has never been able to be stacked.

      • Yes! I knew that, but I thought that vouchers are user specific like gift cards & not generic like black Friday discount codes, so they might work together. But not possible.

        • +1

Gift cards and vouchers are different.

Having said that, I remember in the past eBay used to give out gift vouchers as part of promotions. For example during those $50 promotions for signing up to eBay plus when eBay plus first launched they gave out gift cards.

Gift cards aren’t tied to a single account so you could have used it on a different account if you wanted to and also stack it with promotional codes. Same as with gift cards that you buy.

  • +1

Just got mine so those still waiting check your My eBay Summary.

  • Can confirm I got my $80 + pending $15 shopback from $4.99 annual sign up.

  • Hey guys, I got my $80 voucher too but I think I made a mistake. I thought the $80 voucher can be used for different orders however when I purchased an item for $9 it used up my entire voucher and says it's now redeemed in my account page.

    Is this normal?

    • +1

Yes it's normal. There's comments here warning people that the voucher is a one time use.

      • +1

Yep. Ended up canceling the $9 order and contacted customer service. They were able to generate me another $80 voucher and were very helpful. I told them i was very upset about the mistake i made.

        • Great to hear! Surprised they actually generate another one. I guess now you have learned your lesson 😋 make sure to use it soon incase they do a sudden expiry

    • Made the same mistake. What a stupid voucher!

  • Got mine finally!

  • +1

Got the $80 voucher with $5 annual cost, thanks heaps RogueWolf.

  • Been sweating for a few days+ voucher finally available today, renewed on 17th Oct. Now, what to buy? 😁

  • Voucher finally arrived. Nice!

  • I got mine today, signed up on 16th Oct.
    Chat with them 3 times…
The Voucher is valid from the date of issue until 23:59 (AEDT) 31 December 2022

  • Finally received the voucher. Signed up on 7 Nov

  • +3

Got my voucher. Signed up for a year for $5 and got a $20 voucher and an $80 voucher lol. Thanks OP

    • +1

Did the same thing and got an $80 voucher an hour ago.

  • Received mine, signed up 17/10.

  • Just received mine, signed up 18/10

  • Received mine via email , signed up 13/11
I did follow up a couple times with eBay support, not sure if that helped. I was given the same response "please wait until 1 Dec"

  • Has anyone else not received it yet?

  • Got my $80 voucher today. Used it at the Good Guys for click and collect (balance owing of $19). After I had approved payment, the receipt showed I had been charged an extra $35 for postage that I had not authorised (so $54 total). eBay live chat were useless and I have had to cancel the order. Just another positive eBay experience /s.

    • +2

But did you really though (get charged for postage)? Sometimes the invoice, especially from sellers, reflects the full sale price, not the discounted price. What matters is what you actually paid.

      • Yeah, it charged me for postage instead of click and collect. I have launched a PayPal case to see how this could happen, but it's a warning to others.

        • +1

          Damn. That sucks.

    • That is weird, so on payment page it said confirm & pay $19 and you got charged $54 on your account?
Also I thought being ebay+ you get free express delivery? does not make sense.

    • I also did a click and collect from the good guys, had everything set up in cart and then at the last second change my payment method and noticed that it switched click and collect back to the postage option - same thing might of happened, and you didn’t realise?

      • I always double check and it was $19 that was authorised at the PayPal payment page.

  • Signed up and paid $49 on 12/11. Received $80 voucher this morning and used already.

  • I got two $80 vouchers…

  • -1

Got my voucher, wasn't eligible to begin with

    • +1

What do you mean? You managed to activate though. Did you pay $49 or $5?

      • -1

Signed up for a full year when this was posted, I've already used trial. Never got an invitation email, used the link that was in the comments.

  • what's the best way to go about spending this voucher?

Since black friday sale, the discounts equate to like $22 off on $100 spend etc and higher if you spend more etc….
so it would be more better to use the black friday sale code instead of this voucher since you can get big discounts with the code

e.g if you spend $363, you can get $80 off with the 22% off which is the same as using this $80 voucher

    • +1

Find something around $80 with free delivery.

  • Huh, I remember accepting this offer ages ago but then not signing up to Plus. Then on Friday I took them up on the $5 annual membership and today I received the $80 voucher. Nice little unexpected bonus.

  • My ebay plus subscription expired just yesterday. What's the best way to get a $80 voucher from Ebay. Can someone pls inform ;)

    • +2

You can't now since its expired.

    • +2

Don't sign up till an equivalent offer appears.

    • +1

Make sure to cancel any saved payment methods they have been known to charge even when people try to cancel.

  • Anyone else still waiting for their voucher? I activated and purchase the year membership on the 24th October and have been told on chats that i qualified and am entitled to it but still nothing. My last chat i was told this would be escalated to investigate whats happening.

    • I am still waiting after multiple chats

      • Just chatted again and they said to wait for Ebay to contact me via email. Did you get the same BS?

        • Yup, I was told over a week ago I would get an email "soon". Nothing since then

        • Same here - no voucher.

  • +1

Got the voucher on 26Nov from the $5 sign up.
They removed the voucher from my account now.
    Anyone else?

  • +1

I got the voucher on 25 Nov but still trying to think on what to spend.
Today I tried the voucher it says that "Unfortunately, this code no longer works. Please continue with your order."
    Anyone has any idea?

    • +1

the voucher also disappeared from my account

      • If people paid $49 for it can not use it either, it may be a glitch. Otherwise, it may be canceled for $5 subscribers.

    • +2

I paid $49 for 1 yr subscription and today the $80 voucher no longer in summery and when entering the code, it says This code is no longer available!!

      • +1

Thanks for reply. This voucher is supposed to be released today, which may cause the issue. Just give it a bit time to correct by itself.

        • +1

Yes you right, my voucher shows back again.

          • @huntabargain: Yes, the same. The $10 voucher is available too.

            • @Neoika: $80 voucher (redeemed) is back for me, but not the $10 yet.

I have the $10 voucher from the newsletter sign-up, and 2 eBay Plus $5 vouchers ($15 and $50 min spend).

  • Still waiting for my $80 voucher and the $10 voucher i did get wont work! This is getting really frustrating. Does anyone have a $5 off $15 spend voucher they dont need? I chatted with them again yesterday and continued to get the same crap about it being on its way - well so is Xmas and i need to get some pressies sorted :(

    • Do you have atleast $30 worth of items in cart for the $10 voucher?

      • Yeah, sure do. On chats now again and being told this will be investigated by the techs. But i double chaeck the T&Cs and it doesnt even specify the min $30 spend anyway.

      • Not that there was any spend limit for the $10 voucher in the T&Cs…

        • Not sure which one @cheekychief received but there's 2 $10 voucher, one was from the BF $90 spend and the other is this one

  • +1

@cheekychief I share your frustrations. I'm waiting for 3 vouchers:
    - monthly $5 off $15 spend for Nov (enquired about 2 weeks ago but still no voucher);
    - $10 for spending $90;
    - $10 for signing up to marketing email.
Live chat advised to wait another 10 days for the marketing email voucher.
Also to wait for them to email me their findings for the other 2 vouchers.
    W A I T

    • +1

Monthly $5 off $15 spend for Nov (enquired about 2 weeks ago but still no voucher); - THAT is Ebay to a tee - Damn useless!

Guess we need to start annoying them on a daily bases now!

      • +2

Good idea. Will start chatting everyday from tomorrow. Less than a min wait.

  • Didn't use my $80 voucher but it's now dissappeared. Was meant to expire on the 31st wtf

    • The $80 voucher on my eBay summary page had an expiry of 16th Dec but T&Cs had 31st Dec. Did you take a screenshot of expiry? Good luck contacting eBay.
I'm still waiting for my $10 vouchers from 2 different promos. Spoke to live chat again today and was told to wait. Was escalated to "priority" about 2 weeks ago.

      • I contacted this morning. They have issues me a new voucher

        • Great. That's a quick response from eBay.

        • How did you contact? mine expired too. I checked other day and was meant to be 31st

          • +1

@Jono258: On the app through help used the live chat. I used a random option there and they just transferred me

            • @DoesntEvenMatter: Ok thanks ill try tomorrow as theyre offline now

            • @DoesntEvenMatter: Sorted this morning, reissued. Phew!

              • +1

@Jono258: Same issue here, got it reissued in less than 5 mins. They have probably already chatted with many people in the past couple of days LOL.

    • +1

Mine had an expiry of 16/12, so I used it on the last day. Somehow they've reissued another one which expires on the 31/12. So that's 2 x $80 vouchers I've been issued.

      • that's 2 x $80 vouchers I've been issued.

why some people are so lucky

      • Automatically? That's nice!

        • Yea, I got an email saying to remember to use it, I've checked past code and it's different to the one I got previously.

      • I got the same. Once I noticed my old code was expired before expiry date I contacted them via live chat and they issued me a new one. I used that code immediately and then the next day the original $80 voucher was active again lol. I haven't used it yet. Have you used yours?

        • I used the original in time, still got the new one, probably should use it soon that 🤣

        • Just checked mine and I got the same too. Now I have 2 $80 vouchers, one issued on chat and another one issued automatically. Nice!

  • Do we need to spend the full voucher at once or able to use the remaining

    • All at once

  • Is there a way to use this and a promo code?

    • Looking at getting a tv and promo codes usually bring it down more than the 80 would. Can you buy a gift card etc
