  Planning to stay at a Holiday Inn booked via AMEX Travel (want to use Travel Credits) - anyone have recent data points that despite booking through a third party (ideally AMEX) you were still entitled to your IHG Diamond benefits?

  It just worked for me at Holiday Inn Disney Springs area in Florida. Got a room upgrade and free breakfast for 2 provided for 5 days. Wouldn’t have been possible without Diamond status!

  A mate of mine stayed at IHG San Francisco for 2 nights and also scored an upgrade and breakfast for both days.

  FYI I booked using points redemption via the IHG app.
