Hi guys. Boost Mobile is currently selling its $40 55GB SIM for just $12, so stack with this offer from Cashrewards to get $15 cashback for a $3 profit. Cashback reverts to 100% as per this deal at 9am AEDT Monday, before Boost's discounted SIM offer expires on Oct 11. Stay safe, and enjoy :)

Cashback terms:

  1. Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. Adding more than one SIM to an order will result in an untracked purchase.
  2. SIM must be activated within 30 days of ordering.
  3. Cashback is ineligible on prepaid phones, recharges, and any plans or products not specifically listed in the cashback table of rates.
  4. You must return and click through from Cashrewards every time you make a new transaction/purchase.

For tracking success, disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost. • What's a good non-telstra sim option to churn between these boost/cr offers?

    • +38

Optus. Comes with free identity theft.

    • Kogan $2

      • Isn't it $1 with unidays ?

or they jacked up price like facial tissues too (Now $1.70 before $0.95 at times not long ago) ?

        • +1

For those who don’t have unidays

    • +2

Felix mobile. Use the FELIX code to get a free one-month subscription. Operates on TPG network.

      • TPG uses Telstra 4G network, isn't it?

        • They use Vodafone

        • +1

          TPG owns Vodafone now…

  • Great deal as always, thanks TA :)

  • Cheers TA, don't need another, but still a ripper deal nonetheless! Highest profit margin we've had yet?

  • +2

Just curious, why does it matter and make cb invalid if we activate after 30 days? We still paid and bought the product and aren't returning it or anything. What's the logic behind that rule?

    • +4

You’d need to ask Boost that question, but likely to stop hoarding?

    • +1

Hoarding, porting in and out, you could essentially get free access for months if they didn't impose that.

      • +1

        Fair point

      • With all these deals, a lot of people are not getting free access but making a profit. This must be at least the 4th consecutive month of a max cost of $1 with a couple of times making a profit.

        • Dont u have to spend money on porting out and back in??

    • Probably the same reason telco's want new connections over upgrading customers business. They want to show an increase in users/connections/port-ins to their shareholders Year-on-year. The no hoarding thing is probably also a big reason, but i reckon this is more a case of Boost being aware of how popular these deals are, and they want that to be reflected on their balance sheets as new activations; the data and calling component costs them next to nothing on a pre-paid sim.

  • +1

What counts as a new customer? New email, don't port from existing boost account?

    • Have you been a Boost Mobile customer before? If so, did they see your face? Were you wearing a mask? Did they take your driving licence number for “verification” purposes?

This is, indeed, a very nuanced question. It comes down to the complexities of what new means. If you’ve been a Boost Mobile customer before, and haven’t been given a new (there’s that word again) identity by the CIA in the meantime, you’re probably not new

      • Um I think I might just pass.

  • +6

I've got a ton of pending boost cashbacks… Will be a bummer if they got rejected.

    • +1

Can we literally buy any amount of these sims and get unlimited profit? OR are there any restrictions?

    • +2

Same here. My first one was in July and it says it won't get approved til end of this month. Then another pending for November and another for December.

      Yikes.

      • +3

I've got over $100 pending on these boost cashbacks.. my first one is estimated for the end of the month… we'll see if it gets approved or not.

  • -8

Will this work if u want to recharge next year say Sept 23?

      • +2

Probably someone who had read the detail and saw that it needs to be activated within 30 days of ordering, and it's a 28 day SIM (not me BTW).

    • Short answer is "No". It would have expired by then.
No disrespect but it is kind of a silly question unless you are not aware that all SIM cards have expiry dates regardless if you wanted to pay this price and not activate to gain the noted cashback.

      • +1

The expiry date from May 2024 afterwards.

  • +8

i think im blocked from these boost cashback deals. i always keep getting "Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later." error message. anyone encounter this issue too? i've tried different browser, different email, different credit cards even.

    • Suffering same issue too

    • Keep refreshing the page until it works.

      • +1

i have tried many times, even in previous cashback promos.

    • +1

i just need one more simcard for my family member who's coming to visit next week..

      • +1

Get a Kogan one for $3 instead, or Lebara for $4

        • yeh may have to do that..

    • +1

i was in the same shoe. you are on their shitlist for now. try again next month.

      • +1

how are they tracking me though? i've used other names, dob, email, phone number, and credit cards - and they all come out with the error. only thing ive not tried changing is my delivery address.

        • -1

Do you have a habit of answering your own questions?

        • +1

You haven't changed your IP address.

        • +1

that's it. they banned your delivery address

    • Had the same problem. A different email helped as apparently my main email was banned. If that doesn't help, try a different phone number.

    • +4

A Boost Rep has answered this previously https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/12762301/redir

  • +1

Can we literally buy any amount of these sims and get unlimited profit? OR are there any restrictions?

    • One can figuratively buy any amount for unlimited profit. Have fun activating your 10,000 SIMs for a cool 30k of free money!

      • +1

Lol, no seriously, can I buy at least 3,4 sims? Few weeks ago I bought the $200 sim, so just asking. It would have been fantastic if they had data gifting at least…

        • So you’re going for a double-figure profit? Ambitious, but certainly not out of the question

    • +1

    • They won't even let me buy 1

  • +2

This deal takes along time to track like previous cs boost deal, takes months but hopefully it does track, still waiting for mine to track from previous deal…

  • +6

Need cash rewards to partner with another telco. So we can go back and forth every 28 days…

    • +2

If you've got a dual sim phone just activate with a new number & use for data.

      • +1

This.. exactly what I did. Helps my 60gb amaysim last the year ☺️

    • +1

I would love this deal to be mirrored by an Optus and Vodafone reseller to cover all networks for data.

      • Vodafone sometimes have 100% cashback on their prepaid 40GB a month sims but it rarely happens

        • Sometimes… rarely… it started out bad and got worse!

      • -1

        Optus? Why?

      • Bing lee currently has the 40gb a month prepaid recharges on sale for $5. Not free. But still pretty good.

  • +1

Last one didn't track and still no response 10 days after query. Disappointing..

    • +1

Thanks TA for promptly responding to assist and provide resolution. Cheers.

  • Boost sim 1: driver’s license, outlook email
Boost sim 2: tried above got error, driver’s license working with gmail
Boost sim 3: tried above and got error again, used passport as verification instead of driver’s license and different email to bypass error
Too many hoops to activate boost sim, not going to buy anymore for awhile

    • +2

Call them and ask to delete previous SIMs from associated accounts to free things up. That way none accumulate sitting there for 6 months awaiting topup.

      • This could helpful for multi boots number under one account. I guess.

        • You can view all the services on the APP if you have set up an ID. I haven't found a way to do so on the desktop.

          • +1

@Neoika: I believe what Borg suggested is, contacting customer service..

    • +1

I think you just tried to Boost too many times. Gravity eventually prevails

  • So do boost have a flagged list you can get on if you activate too often? Might sit this one out if that's the case.

    • +2

Fortune favours the bold. And by fortune, I mean $3

    • I think there was a limit to the number of sims activated per person from the Gubberment. People may need to check hiw many sims are activated against their name.

      • +1

In theory but not in practice as far as I am aware. I don't believe there is any behind-the-scenes cross-checking.

  • +2

    No esim yet?

  • Used to be able to order 2 Sims during these deals before they lock me out now I can only order one. Looks like they're catching on.

    • it seems that they look at your address to see if you ordered recently
you should try if you live at let's say 1 david st put in 1a david st

  • +1

Can somebody please give a quick rundown (or provide a link) on how sim churning work? My telstra plan is expiring and just looking for some cheap plans like the $9 amaysim.

  • $3 cash back, $1 for each Boost Mobile car starting in the top 10 at Bathurst. Thanks Boost!

  • +1

    No esim

Too long for cash back to get into account .! In case you missed it costs you 4 times.!

If cb not tracked - headache 🤕 to contact them.!

    For 3$.

    Thanks but no thanks.!

    • use their app for better tracking

  • +2

I just activated my sim from a previous one of these boost offers, but the sim card does not work. I tried in multiple phones with no success, so I have chatted and ordered a replacement sim for it. So now will I be disqualified for the cashback? Thanks

    • +1

Lucky you did not port an existing number on to it. I have seen other reports about the faulty SIM, e.g..

It seems the best approach is to insert the unactivated SIM to a phone and test the signal first before porting.

      • +1

But it has to be activated to get the cashback?

Anyway I have already gone through a couple of these over the past few months and this is the first one that's failed to work

        • Technically, the SIM was activated, but will be never used.

          • @Neoika: So then I'm guessing that the cashback will still be approved since the sim card did get activated?

  • these deals just keep getting better. thanks

  • Is simply activating the sim sufficient to qualify for cashback, or do you need to actually put it in your phone and use it a bit?

Edit: I see someone above me has asked the same. Hopefully either of us get an answer of someone that's perhaps done it before?

    • Just activated.
It's up to you whether you choose to use it or leave turned off and unused.

      • Sweet. I just activated the last one I got as it's coming up to 30 days, but still have a bit of time left on my current Sim that is also with Boost lmao. Thank you sir for your help.

  • is there eSims for any 3rd party carriers yet?

  • +1

"Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later."
I only have one Boost account from months ago…Boost is dead to me

    • +1

Same. Ordered one in August. That was my first ever Boost order. Weird

  • I just ordered the sim like 5 mins ago but it said it's ordered on 9 Oct instead of 10 Oct in the order confirmation email. So if it's on the 9 Oct, when will be the last day I must activate the sim in order to qualify for the cashback i.e. does 9 Oct consider as day 1 or day 0? My current sim expires on 7 Nov.

    • +2

“Within one day” of ordering — 24 hours from your order date/time.

“Within 30 days” of ordering — before 24 x 30 hours has elapsed since your order date/time.

E.g., ordered 9th October at noon, activate by 8th November at noon
