        Wonder if they had a bunch of unsold 32GB sticks and thought they might as well check them in these systems.

        As far as I can tell there isn't a way to add 32GB to the Thinkbook 14s without going through the Lenovo chat system (i.e. it isn't offered as a standard upgrade).

      What would you recommend as far as screen and overall build quality goes, for something of these specs? Say, i5, 32GB RAM and 500GB NVME?

        NUC M15 can be had for under $900 but has 16GB soldered RAM and non-touch display. The same seller has an i7 version with touch for ~$1080 after coupons. Again only 16GB but that’s more than enough for most users imo

    haha guarantee you Lenovo had some CTO order fall through after they made them and sold them off to Ingram, Dicker Data or Leader for cheap
