Seriously though, this is basically a Canon EOS 550D from 2011. Don't buy this EOS 3000D, get a better EOS 650D on gumtree for ~$350.
I’m still using my 550d for occasional on the job engineering videos, came to see if this compares - was not disappointed.
The EOS 550D did not have a plastic lens mount. These are worse.

These entry-level DSLR cameras with the crap kit lens are only worth $200 in the modern age.

Still have it and use it. Just not the kit lens.

It does 720p and 1080p video and HDMI out.
I'd say unless you're able to spend more than $1000 on a camera it would be more worthwhile to just buy a better phone and take pictures and videos with that, as you'll generally get better quality.
