    Screw these stupid ebay deals.

Its always on crap thats jacked up in price.

    Amazon > e9ay

    • Works on my items (private seller) and can confirm I haven't jacked them
Might be some good deals out there on this one

        Amazon <> ebay

Amazon and Ebay both have some wildly overpriced listings and occasionally you get a bargain. Its always worth shopping around.

      • Im guessing buy it now items only and wont work on auctions?

    • +1

not only the jacked up prices on ebay, but depends on where you buy from, the parcel wrapping can range from good to atrocious.

i received a glass light bulb in an 'envelope' folded from a vehicle magazine.

      i stopped using ebay now.

    • Amazon is always better than Ebay when they have a sale on Amazon they are actually good.

      • +1

Not always. Speaking from experience, in general toilet paper & snack foods deals, Amazon yes. Camera stuff, vacuum cleaners, grog and beer deals (for east coast at least), eBay. I am sure the Asahi and Fat Yak drinkers here would agree 😉

Thanks OP, I was looking at an $1800 second hand item from a private seller last night - decided to sleep on it and saved $100!

    • I also had my eyes on a couple of lens from private sellers. This may just seal the deal…

  • So just checking has anyone made this code work with overseas sellers, or otherwise sellers that don't price in AUD?

    • +1

AFAIK, these codes never work with overseas based stores, even if in AUD.
