$1.77/can of 440ml Coopers Green, delivered.

What a time to be alive.

  • Need a recommendation
Caol Ila or Ardberg or Green label
It'll be my first peaty whisky

    • +2

Caol Ila for mine. I rank it just below lagavulin 16, which is my fav

      • -7

'lagavulin 16' So what your saying is you like 16 year olds?

    • -1

Green Label if your first. It is a blend of Talisker from Skye, Caol Ila from Islay, and Cragganmore & Linkwood both Speyside. It is the least peatty being a blend with the non-Islays and is really nice and easy to drink. Unfortunately the days of getting it for $65 after discounts and or cash back seem ling gone. My preference for many years has been Laphroaig, Lagavulin 16 and JW Green in order of intensity. Although my taste seems to be changing away from Laphroaig"s intensity. I don't like Ardbeg - it has a metallic taste to me. For some reason I have never had ir bought a bottle of Caol Isla. I don't know Lagavulin 8yo either but perhaps that is also worth a try.

      • All of these have gone up dramatically in price the last year or so. I can't believe Lagavulin 16 is now around $180. I may try a bottle of Caol Isla this time at around half the price if it is nearly as good as the Lagavulin as suggested above.

        • Yea, what a pain, it's one of a favourite drops. I used to wince at $135 as you could regularly get it for around $100 on special (best was around $75 after stacked cashback / and 25% 0ff) but $180 is nuts.

    • Had the Ardbeg the other day. It really punches you in the face… great but not an easy dram.

  • +1

Perfect timing for a picnic on the weekend, 8 bottles of good wine for $80 after the Cashback

  • Urh! I ordered last night!

Just return and make a new order

I'm a bit gun shy at using cashback & First Choice. I'm still waiting for my money back on their last debacle cashback stuff up that was super sized.

Mountain Culture Cult IPA and Status Quo Pale are heavily discounted in SA at First Choice, Coles, and Liquorland (but strangely not at Vintage Cellars which is also owned by Coles). The clerk at Liquorland told me the type of label on the shelf indicated it was something they were clearing out so perhaps Mountain Culture are no longer willing to partner with Coles?

    • Maybe, but I noticed in WA they now have Be Kind Rewind on the store, at the bargain price of $10 (or $7.50 w/ CR) per can!!! A 4-Pack price is $56 so definite pricing error.

      • Which store? couldnt find it anywhere near Perth.

    • Cult IPA any good?

  • I was loving the Liquor land deal recently because they only had a $100 threshold for free del but 1st Choice is $150

      Hi,

      Thanks,

    • I've seen this, too! CR website shown 25% but once clicked in, FCL website triggered the Chromes extension shows 2.2%, not too sure now…………….

    • +1

Why would the vpn make a difference?

      • I don't even run a vpn

  • anyone else have a white screen which prevents logging in cr app

  • Whoa, delivery wait is a pretty long time ay… arrive by 16th.

Stack with Westpac $10 Cashback if you pay with CC. Saw this too late in the App. Min spend $50

  • Free delivery code has stopped working - so I had to order $150s worth :)

    • Still works for me!

@conork: FREEDEL only worked for Wednesday. CRFREEDEL (Cashrewards exclusive code) works until midnight.

  • Ok I've availed myself of $24.77 out of the $25 cap and cashback tracked in 10 mins. Jolly good show.

  • mmmm more booze at 22.73% cashback.

  • Got over my disappointment that all three different Sauv Blanc Wine Bundle deals were out of stock in NSW, with a timely memory of my last order from them that took two months to be delivered.

You nearly tricked me there First Choice Liquor. Crisis averted…

  • CRFREEDEL didn't work so I didn't order

  • CRFREEDEL registered as a valid code, but greyed-out all the available delivery options, forcing me to choose pickup. Oh well, local isn't too far

  • +3

My purchase still hasn't tracked. Is anyone else in the same boat ?

    • Mine tracked fine

    • Mine has not tracked as well. It normally does without any issues but I guess there is a first time for everything.

    • Me too, also the ‘Send a claim’ button isn’t available in the Click History. Is that normal?

      • You need to wait 7 days to the minute before you can send a claim. My transaction was 12:35 PM last Friday and the button appeared 10 minutes ago.

        • Thanks very much, I didn’t know about the 7 day wait period. Mine just rolled over an hour ago, so that worked a treat. Thanks again sammysamsam.

  • Ok. Thank you.

  • Thanks! Ordered a carton of Mountain culture pale ale. Picked up today. Tracked.
