oh no I've recently had a dual delivered, haven't set it up as yet.
Please explain why I've made a stupid mistake
well if your desk is NOT against a wall then its fine.
if your desk depth isnt enough, and against a wall then it will create issue when you try to align 2 monitors. hard to explain but once you set them up you will realise the issue. just like i did a year ago. its because the way dual arm like this one on the post works. the elbows will hit the wall
I can concur. I have this problem after moving and having a different setup. Having to go back and by individual arms.
@IJustKnowStuff: Yeah i was like omg how stupid is this.
Lucky i have very big desk. To get around this issue you will have the monitor closer to the middle of the desk@IJustKnowStuff: Actually I only need to buy 1 more arm since my current dual has removable arms
@IJustKnowStuff: Yeah mine too i guess i can buy one single like this but it would be different design. Hmm..
It's not only that, if you've got anything bigger than 24"s you often can't tilt the side monitor nearly enough (dual arm isnt long enough) to have one flat central and one off to the side but tilted in at the about 30-45 degrees you need it to be.
Price is $65 atm…what coupon code?
Apply the voucher bruh
Just found it thanks, was so small..
thats what she said…..
@CyberMurning: Haha damn beat me to it
@ChunkyToast: disclaimer : not my own personal experience
Does anyone have a heavy monitor on this? My current arm was advertised as up to 10kg but my monitor (Dell 31.5” curved) is 7.7kg and the arm struggles big time. Everything super tight but it keeps tilting down. Been looking for a new one that actually handles the weight and won’t cost me $300
I have a different branded monitor arm that looks identical to this one, have the same issue with my 27" asus monitor, i had to really tighten down the bolt to the point where i can no longer tilt the monitor myself to prevent it from tilting over time, my monitor is only 4.3kg too, well below the advertised maximum 9k weight limit.
I bought this on Saturday - Family also swears by it after ordering it and using it himself. I’m going to use it for my ultra wide 34” monitor.

48G or go home
Can we go back to 1st gen K-pop- wondergirls please
And how come no one Gangnam Styles anymore?
this vs ozb regular favourite North bayou brand?
Looks like this has been around $35 before previously but not popular here.. is this different for some reason? Lowest was actually $30 December last year?
Bought 1, thx op !
Bought one don't know why :)
Bought 3 North Bayou F100A Gas Strut Arms off amazon. Best ones Ive used
Why is this better? Does it hold bigger/heavier monitors? Or just a better range of movement?
Do they make wall mounted arms as well?
North Bayou monitor arms are just known as the "best value arm" overall. Reliable and not too expensive. They are really popular in SEA. Probably cheaper over there too, since that's where they are made.
Apart from what @blacksmithnpc has already said, the arm holds a wide range of screen sizes, and holds heavy monitors too, they have usb 3 pass-through on the base if you care about that. Bought an MSI 165hz 32" quantum dot monitor not long ago, its a thick boy and holds it fine. Also the some of the previous arms Ive used, they start to squeak and dont hold their position well from minor adjustments.
Bought one for no reason. Will it hold Dell 2721DGF?
If you have a light monitor, say 27” or below. This is fine.
For 30” or above, you probably want a stronger (more expensive) arm.
Good price. Haven't checked it on 3x camels yet but pretty sure this is the lowest price I have seen it.
Good product? Not sure. I see the North Bayou's (NB's) recommended more often, not sure how they compare side by side though.
Maybe there is a youtube comparison out there.i think it was $30 back in Dec. based on quick OzB search
Yeah I was just going by memory. I found the $29.99 deal, it links to the same product so must be the same model.
definitely wont use it for monitor.
but seems a good use for my tablet in bed.How would you mount the tablet?
I took a punt on one of these https://www.kmart.com.au/product/single-arm-monitor-mount-43… for a 34" Ultrawide, works wonderfully. Bought another for the 27" in portrait.
Bout to pickup another 2 for the other half for a pair of 27" on her side of the office.
As said above, if your desk is butting up against a wall get 2x singles - so much easier to align.
How heavy is your 34inch. I'm a try it with my AW3821DW see if it will hold…
LG 34WL500 5.9kg without stand.
Your monitor is 12+kg might be a bit much, but for $35 crank the gas spring all the way and see what happens.
7.9kg supposedly just with panel.. I reckon it'd hold but do I risk it with such an expensive panel lol. It won't just collapse and break?
@R3XNebular: No. If the spring can't hold it will just sag, it won't spontaneously shatter.
@R3XNebular: Kmart arm says 6.5kg max weight limit. I wouldn't bother unless you plan to have the bottom of the monitor touching the desk at all times.
@harshbdmmaster718: Yea good point looks like I'll wait for another deal. Hopefully one pops up
@R3XNebular: I would recommend the North Bayou one that AssBargain (lol) recommended above. Rated up to 12kg.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/12605277/redirIf you look at deal history seems to be a good price right now.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/north-bayou-f100aEdit: 3x camels seems to be working on this item, and shows as lowest so far. https://au.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B07496HG96
If you want to save some money, you could go with the North Bayou F80 or H80 which are rated up to 9kg. In my opinion though I would go with the higher rated arm for such an expensive monitor. Also apparently the F100A is not only rated for higher weight, but is a slightly larger arm to accomodate for larger/curved monitors.
Too late….:(
oh no, missed…..
now i want this lol
alot on ebay for around $37-39 but most of them i cant use the $5 ebay plus voucherAnyone received and can comment on the quality, easy to install etc?
Deal looks like it is over. It is currently $51.
You are better off getting the North Bayou F80 or H80 with the same weight rating for $40.
Back in stock
omg so cheap…
i wish i didnt buy dual arm.. remember everyone if you have 2 monitors, get 2x single arm.
thank me later
