I did it last year and regret it..
It's not abuse (ie not called/emailed daily) but I've had 4 calls and been added to a few mailing lists as a result.As posted above only valid from sonystyle.com.au which only has RRP's. Better off walking into a store and getting a much better deal.
You don't HAVE to include your phone or email.
I didn't give my phone and used my "spam" email address.

what i've noticed is the website quote some outragous prices.

Lifestyle survey is the most time wasting survey you'll ever done - hundred and hundreds of questions, and just not worth it.
Sony is one of overpriced consumer goods in the world and sonystyle sells pretty much at maximum RRP price. You'll get better price to buy Sony product somewhere else, and you may get more than $100 discount by shopping somewhere else.
$100 voucher to be used for minimum $500 is pretty much useless. I think it used to be minimum of $300.

I filled this out earlir in the year aand started getting phone calls. I told them 'I'm on the No Call List' and they said 'You must have filled out a survey somewhere.' Another telemarketer specifically said 'You said you were interested in xxx in the AU Lifestyle Survey…'
Yes, it warns you quite explicitly to only provide your phone number if you want to be contacted. Including your phone number is completely optional, and I can't figure out why anyone would? Maybe they're trying to trap people too stupid to read the warning?
Quite a long survey, worth it I guess if you need some sony gear ;) They ask A LOT of personal information.. lottttssss.
