  • is the quality good?

    • so far works well on my 2 cars, but that's based on a 5 month's usage.

      • that's about as long as any car part lasts these days :(

        • I honestly didn't find them that great but I never reached out to them for a replacement (they were leaving too many lives and after couple of months smuggling as well). They started making noises fairly quickly.

I bought a pair of wipers off AliExpress for $20. And was super impressed.

Not really, mine is now 2 years and doesn't wipe as well vs my Bosch Aerotwins which are almost 8 years and wipes water better than my Wipertechs. My Wipertechs is on a car thats always garaged as well vs my Bosch Areotwins which are on a car thats parked outside on the street.

My experience too. The Wipertech blades on our car hardened after a couple of years and are noisy and "grabby" - even with using some Lanox to try to reduce friction.

The Aerotwins on our 4WD have just been replaced after 5 years, having led a much tougher life.

        Pricing difference for a Landcruiser:
        Wipertech 3 pack $99 less $10 = $89.00
        3 x Aerotwins $27.90 each = $83.70 (ordered 16th August)

        • Where did you buy your aerotwins from? I need a new wiper for my Civic

        • I had the opposite experience, the Bosch Aerotwins on the 4wd squeaked at the top and bottom of the stroke, and nothing i could do made it better. It's a fairly new windscreen too.

Got the Wipertech and they were perfect. But only had them a few months so how long they last will be the test.

Yep same here. Bosch above the rest, I'd rather go OEM then wipertech

        • +1

Yep, share the same thoughts. Wipertech lasted about 18 months. Replaced with Bosch Areotwins still going strong afrer 2 years, Bosch performance also better

          • @Mentem: The Bosch was out of stock for the foreseeable future so I tried one. Their sizing was off i.e at least 2cm shorter than expected.

          • @Mentem: I'm using the Bosch Icons, been getting them from US Amazon for long time

  • Have anyone ever used Jenok's and this? How do they compare?

It seems Jenok have it for the same price with additional refill.

    • I've tried the Wipertech's on my VF Commie and while they were OK, the Jenok's I replaced them with were better. The Wipertech's don't seem to handle things like Bowden's Happy Ending getting on the glass.

  • Just what my dad wanted for father's day

Bosche is better followed by Tridon.
    Naturally, more expensive however.

Agree with most. Compared to prices for Bosch wipers, these are no deal and not as good as Bosch's.

  • Cheers OP, was due for a replacement too

  • After reading the comments (and having used Wipertech for the past 15 months). I went to Supercheap and purchased some Bosch Aerotwins tonight for my Mazda 3. Price matched to Sparesbox and paid $50 for a pair. Easy to install and so far so good.
