  • Apart from being the default Alexa music service. What does it have that spotify/Apple/YT/etc doesn't have?

    • It doesn't have podcasts - you need a separate subscription for that…….

      • Are you sure? I don’t have unlimited and was listening to a podcast last week.

        • Well, wouldn't you need audible?

          • @HamBoi69: I don’t have audible. The Amazon music app has a podcast tab.

      • it does have podcast and its very popular too.
audible is for audiobooks not podcasts.

    • Have tried Spotify and Apple and I find Amazon has a better line up of new song releases. I would often ask them “xxx, please play latest new songs”.

  • It’s only showing 1 month free for me, but I did have unlimited a year or so ago.

    • And for others I'd watch the billing as it may confirm as 3 months but they in fact start billing after 1 month.

  • Would be nice if YouTube music integrated well with Alexa devices, might have to dump my echos since it likely never will

    • I have many Google devices so I kinda agree with you. But amazon music /prime video s audio quality is much better than yt or netflix imho. I use them much more than other services.

  • +1

This promotion is annoying, keeps popping up everytime I open Amazon Music but I'm not eligible.

  • Not for me. :(

  • It was always like this. The advantage to date with amazon is the hi-fi music option. Spotify has still not delivered on it since they announced it
