I have the 2.0. House flies get obliterated with one shot, but if I'm not dead-on it can take two.
Blowflies are like bulletproof. Takes 2-3 shots sometimes.Get the laser add on. Once you've calibrated it you almost never miss.
For the ultra hardcore shooters, there is special salt just for these salt guns. The grains are coarser than table salt.
Alternatively just use pink himalayan salt.

Do these also work on mosquitoes, spiders, smaller flies? What is the effective range? I imagine point-blank for maximum effectiveness, but say you have a quick one buzzing around that you have to take pot shots at?
