Bosch 18V CityMower
Bosch 36V EasyRotak

Obviously not as cheap as the ARM 37 but if you're looking for a cordless one, this might be a good alternative. Though you still need to get the 18/36V battery

Don't forget to tick the 15% coupon

— Update —

The 18V 4.0Ah battery and charger set is also currently on 15% off at Amazon for $126.65

    I was getting concerned.

It was nearly 5 minutes since the last Bosch @ Amazon deal.

    • Any REP to combine them into one post XD

    • 5 minutes??? these are rookie numbers! Bosch rep better double it up! chop chop!

  • Without battery bruh

    • The battery one was 194 and sold out

  • Looks like with battery it's over 300

Comments in a previous thread suggest that at this price point, the Ozito Steel Deck for ~$400 w/ 2 x 4ah batteries (when on sale) is a better option.

That's right! The Bosch 18V CityMower for $181.77 + 18V 4.0Ah battery and charger set for $126.65 so it becomes $308.42

The same set is currently selling at $429 from Bosch eBay

  • Am in the market for cordless law mower and whipper snipper as getting lawn done by gardener getting too expensive for my elderly mother so trying to get all the advice I can in the always helpful Ozbargain community. Basically I would like some recomendations of decent quality mower and whipper snipper without a ridiculous price please ! :)

I have to ozito so far OK but not for large lawn

      • I reckon mum's lawn totalling more than 200m2, not sure if it considers as large or medium though, which model of ozito may I ask which you have good experience with ? I just couldn't use the petrol ones cause I never succeeded in starting one no matter how hard I pull !!! :(

I have the Ozito PXC 18V Brushless Lawn Mower for a small garden at the back of my townhouse. It kind of sucks and is weak but does the job and is all I need if that makes sense. It doesnt cut too low but a combination of the mower and a whipper snipper does the job for me. Power is weak but enough for grass as long as you dont leave it for a month etc. Happy to help with any Qs.

            @spliff tannen:

Ozito PXC 18V Brushless Lawn Mower

Same, I have front and backyard lawn, total I think around the same 200m2, as mentioned not very powerful just don't leave the grass too long it will be fine.

I normally need 2 x 4Ah + 1 x 3Ah to finish it all because of the size of the mower not as large like petrol one and have to walk around more.

            • @superforever: Yup I agree. It's fine. It's good with a replacement warranty also. If it ever dies (out of warranty) I might try a Bosch battery.

I would like to get recos too.

Can someone suggest a good cordless mower? Can go up to $1000 but looking for something good and built to last.

I had a cheap corded lawnmower but it broke, giving me more headache than service.

I have a Bosch Rotak 37 (3 generations behind this model) and been using it weekly for more than 10 years. Cops abuse and gets thrown around. Hasn't missed a beat. Lightweight and able to go "off road" unlike some petrol mowers.

    • Get 2x18v. Looks at marketplace for second hand ones. I got a year older with receipt for $250 (for mower and whipper snipper)

  • +1

Good value if you can easily modify it to be a automower. :)

Looks more like a Sh***yMower than a CityMower.

  • Recently My electric Ozito dead after 8 years. and bought electric Yard force 1800w. I was thinking to buy battery. After reviewing the comments in previous post, they complain the battery capacity drop a lot after 6 months. I think electric is still the reliable to buy. I have around 250m2. The Yard force has 40cm width, bigger than my Ozito 37cm.
