I guess this offer is for new customers only? Because Kogan doesn't have repeat customers.

    • +5

Hahahaha, love this comment. Kogan is shit.

    • +2

      Got'em.

    • +4

      Guilty. I am a repeat customer 😜

    • +2

They're just the worst. Worst least transparent retailer and bad combative customer service. Also dodgy bad faith dealings with their subscription people

  • +1

That’s not how math works… basically you spend $49 get $60. Do your cal again…

  • +11

Quite a big caveat though you have to buy something on Kogan.

  • Oh wow, $10 must be spent by 31st of August…

    • Bonus gift card must be redeemed by 31st August 2022 11.59pm AEST.

Sounds like you just need to add it to your kogan account? Do they accumulate like Amazon?

      • +1

Nope need to spend by the end of this month, fk I just bought it and added it

    • +1

No, bonus from the last promo is valid for 3 years or so. It is about adding it to an account by 31 Aug.

      • +3

It seems like it was like that, but not this time.

        • +1

Yes, you are right. There is a way to extend it to one year: buy only one item sold by Kogan (not 3rd party seller) and cancel it soon after order.

        • This does not seem consistent with their Conditions of Use ("Balance of Kogan.com Gift Cards expire 36 months from the date the card is activated") and deserves to be queried.
          https://www.kogan.com/au/giftcard-tcs/
Based on the information on the website, redemption occurs when the value of the gift card is transferred to your account.

    Kogan sucks.

Bought some activewear (Nike and Adidas)from Kogan and found the quality of clothes to be distinctly inferior to the activewear I bought from Aussie websites.

Bought some activewear (Nike and Adidas)from Kogan

C'mon, you've been on OzBargain long enough to know better.

      • +1

This was a while ago.. I think they grey import stuff and sell it as original..

        • Grey Import doesn't mean it's fake, it means it was intended for other markets, and might even be styles that wouldn't have been sold here anyway.

  • How is kogan customer service, especially their after sales service (when the item/s are faulty/defective)?

I'm interested in buying some electronics and tech from them, but considering some of the comments here, perhaps I should pay via PayPal instead for peace of mind….

    • +1

Read their T&C very carefully, then you will know once you buy and you will pay price to return them.

      • Are they really that bad?

    • +1

I've had okay experiences (read: end results) with their warranty people, but had to fight them on having to honour pretty much anything, even in warranty. If you Recieve something broken in the mail from them, they replaced it after photos were sent. If you ask them to make good on some electronics that just went to shit right outside of their voluntary warranty, you can throw the ACL book at them and they give up, but not without a fight. Honestly, my strong suggestion is that if you can buy it on Amazon or locally for a few bucks more, you will almost always save yourself the time and energy to compensate for it by not dealing with kogan

      • Thanks for the info

  • +1

Rarely need anything from Kogan but was able to purchase with my 10% off home improvement visa card (from woolies) to stack even more savings so bit the bullet

  • +2

If the description wasn't clear, the $10 bonus expires at the end of this month even after it's added to your Kogan credit.

    • Thanks for this info. I bought but not redeem it yet.

      • Hi there, can you please confirm the expiry date after you redeem the $10 bonus to kogan credit? Thanks in advance

      • Does it expire if not redeemed by 31 August?

        • +1

Yes, not surprising for Kogan to expire bonus credits in less than a month.

          $10 Shopback Credit
Cannot be used in conjunction with other Kogan.com credits.
          Credit expires 31 August 2022 11:59 PM

The $20 bonus credits from last promo expires 31 December 2025 11:59 PM.

  • can you use for kogan mobile ?

    • I always have been able to in the past. And I intend to do the same with the $10 bonus. Rarely need anything else outta Kogan.

  • +3

    No thanks

  • Anyone actually seen any good deals on Kogan? Mydeal, eBay and Amazon seem to always be cheaper when you account for shipping. Maybe this makes sense if you need Kogan Mobile but can't think about much else.
