  • Why pro no True HEPA Filter?

    • It's compatible with HEPA filters, the stock filters work well anyway.

  • I have a 3H which I think wasn't a global model…if I buy this one, can I connect it to the same app? Or would there be any region issues?

    • +2

Global model should connect with most (Aus,Singapore etc) region other than “China mainland “. So if you got any other devices (such as camera) which are running in China mainland region then global model will not work with the same app. It will, but you will need to manually switch regions depending on which device you use each time.
      Hope i haven’t confused you

      • Thank you, makes sense. I'm set up as Australia region so it should hopefully be OK!

  • the apartment I'm in has old carpets and it creates lot of fine dust. Will this air purifier reduce the amount of fine dust in the air?

    • Get the 3H with the HEPA filter.

This type of air filter can theoretically remove at least 99.97% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, and any airborne particles with a size of 0.3 microns (µm)

    • Sure, but isn't it better to robot vacuum the carpet?

  • I was looking into this the other day but then I read that the Filters have RFID tags on them which as soon as the 6 months is up the machine refuses to operate anymore unless you replace them. Because of the RFID tags as well you can only buy genuine replacements so it seems like they sell you the machine cheaply but then make their money from regular replacement of filters?

    • I have my H3 for over a year. I have not replaced the filter, I get the reminder recently but it's still operating fine.

      • what do you think of its output?
        can you notice the difference?

        • No difference.

          • @Buy2Much: Sorry I mean, notice difference between when it's purifing the air to when it's not on.
I got a kid with bad allergies and seeing it this might help

            • @taoz: I guess it varies with different people. I use it mainly for clearing out open plan smoky living/dining/kitchen area, as well as bedrooms where you get dust from carpet, linen and clothes being tossed around. I also get hay fever easily. I feel better with them on during the day but that could be subjective.
It’s worth a try with the cheapest one 2H $119 in the kid’s bedroom.

              • @Buy2Much: Appreciate the response. Thanks

  • It seems that if you’re signing up for Kogan First at checkout you have to pay via credit card, so you can’t get the extra $20 of for new Latitude Pay customers. I might try signing up for Kogan First separately and I’ll report back if that works.

    • +1

Signing up for the Kogan First trial separately and then checking out with Latitude Pay works for the extra $20 discount (for new Latitude customers). This isn’t my first Kogan First trial either, although I did forget to cancel and ended up paying for a month.

  • They dropped the 2H price to $119!
