    Plugged in a couple of states postcodes for delivery prices. Prices range from around $17-23 for eastern states. So a pretty good deal!

    for printing the occasional at home photos and DVDs, this printer is at a INSANE price!!!
    becareful if you want to price match it at OfficeWork - you will not be eligible for the Epson CashBack promo.

      I bought one of these not long ago. Price after cashback was $135 from MSY so this is definitely a good deal.
      I was thinking of going with a CISS. Which one did you get, wisc? RIHAC?

        yep, Rihac, have one in my 835 and one in my folks 730, amazingly easy to set up and never had an issue with Rihac posted how good they are multiple times.

        man id love to get the A3 printer :)

      Good question. I haven't seen duplex scanning on any of the cheaper multifunctions, but have a look at the Epson Workforce Pro 4590 for a business-grade inkjet multifunction that does duplex scan, copy and fax (with a 30 page ADF).

      If you're not planning on printing much and would prefer a document scanner you can take with you, it may be a better option to get a dedicated portable document scanner like the Canon P150 in addition to a cheap multifunction/printer. (Works out being around the same initial cost.)

    how's this compared to the canon MG5350?
    (Google didn't help much)

    also does this Epson printer has smart phone apps to printer over wifi?

      According to Epson's website, the Artisan 730 comes with Epson Connect, AirPrint and Google Cloud print support.

      It looks pretty similar to the Canon.

      The Canon MG5350 is a little faster (black text: 12.5ipm vs 9.5ipm, colour: 9.3ipm vs 9.0ipm), has a bigger LCD (3" vs 2.5") and holds more paper (150 vs 120 sheets).

      The Epson Artisan 730 does photos faster (10 seconds vs 20 seconds) and uses 6 inks (Canon uses 5).

      Both have Wifi (b,g and n), PictBridge and 2400 x 4800 dpi flatbed scanners.

      Canon's current promo is a $25 gift card for the MG5350, so it currently costs a bit more upfront than the Epson.

      I know i've used epson iprint from the android play store, my mums Phone was able to print to it out of the box (HTC - thats HTC for you though!)
