Requires a Google or Facebook account
Here's how it worked for me;

1. Sign out of the current logged in session
2. Log back in with Facebook account or Google account
3. On the front page of the app you should see 'Claim free burrito' or something along the lines of it.
4. Follow prompts and enjoy

I have previously claimed a free burrito through the same phone but this worked again!

This may also work with 'Sign in with Google' but can someone please check and update? (I do not have a gmail account)

Edit -Thanks doweyy- Using Google signup worked for me, I signed up using a new Gmail that hasn't been used at GYG before and used the same phone number as an existing account. Credit showed on the home page as described

    It’s just the default email they send to all new signups. You get the same email if you delete your account and sign up again. If it’s not there after closing and reopening the app you don’t have it.

  People are saying that it's working for Gmail. I think Gmail accounts are working because the app identifies if a user has already had a free borrito when they sign up with Gmail by their email and checks by phone number if it's not Gmail

  Can confirm - you get a free borrito when you use another Gmail account even with the same phone number. If it keeps automatically loging you in - remove all app data (or delete app if you have an iPhone) - then download to app. DON'T LOGIN YET. Go to your default browser - the automatic login redirect should be in your history - click on that link, sign in with your new account - you'll then be logged in. Finish the signup with the same number - or different - doesn't matter. THEN BOOM - free borrito!

        Still didn't show up in app with different email (email & phone sign in). One free one was fair

  There's a much easier way to do this and continue to get as many free 🌯 s as you want until they fix it.

  If your email is

  [email protected]

  Add a "." Anywhere in the email

  [email protected]

  Then sign up again and get another free burrito and because google don't accept "." In their emails they strip this and send the email to the right place regardless.

  Enjoy the free food !

  p.s this also works with Spotify Netflix Disney etc. Most services that offer a trail don't check emails properly or deconflict phone numbers so you can basically get any service for free if you remember to cancel then resign up before the end of the trail period. Just move the period symbol each time and they think it's a new user.

    Have they fixed the app. I’ve already claimed my burrito. On my iPhone when I go to delete the account I’m sent a code but when I enter it a message says it’s unauthorised. When I deleted the app and re downloaded the same thing happened. If I click join without deleting the acc it comes up with the waiting to load sign. Bummer
    Btw it took 25 mins to get my burrito maybe there were lots of ozbargainers there at lunchtime. Couldn’t complain cos it was free.

    That's a good old trick for trials and whatnot :)
    Doesn't work unfortunately they must have fixed
    Even a completely diff email didn't show anything on the front page of the app.

  It’s also semi-fixed itself if you signed up for the new account earlier.

  I still have the coupon there but it no longer takes $12.50 off at checkout regardless of what’s in the cart, only if you actually have a burrito.

  I wanted to pay $2 for a nacho fries bowl as I don’t like the burritos that much, but it didn’t work.

  Mines bugged and doesn't seem to accept the sign in from google or facebook back in the app. I did get an email but the app doesn't want to sign in with the three social methods for me.
