  • Nothing here.

    Looks to be targeted

  • I got the 100 on 400 offer .

  • Offer seem to vary because Platinum Edge has: Spend $400 at American Express Travel and get $100 back.

  • I have no love on my Platinum Edge.

  • I had the 100 on 400 offer and used it - however I also had $400 travel credit.

If you intend to use these offers with Travel credit you need to eventually be spending the offer trigger amount AFTER travel credit applies.

So for 400 travel credit example:

Get 100 on 400 means total spend must be minimum 400 after travel credit of 400 - means you need to spend at least 800.

The eventual combo if you had the same as the above would be an $800 booking that ends up costing only $300 after credit applied and cashback credited.

Pretty decent combo value - but it cannot be spent on flights (unless it is combined with car hire or accom)

To attempt to utilise this for flights you would have to do a bundle trip - but may not be worth it.

    • Bundles are excluded as per t&c:

Offer valid for pre-paid Hotel or Car Hire bookings only and excludes purchases of Bundles.

      • Oh right - so looks like that got nerfed with this deal. I think it was available on previous.

I got this offer on my Platinum (I'm thinking it's Platinum only) - shame it can't be used for flights.

  • Just in time for my late Sep stay, costing $502. Happy to chalk up the win this time round.

  • used 400-100 last time and did not get the offer this time

  • Can we use it for fine hotel and hotel collection?

  • This works just for flights too

    • Even though terms say hotel and car booking only?

      • Yup, have used this offer on a different card too and got confirmation today for a flight I booked yesterday. Seems it can be used multiple times too
