          Its not B-Die,

This kit uses Micron 8Gbit Rev B, H or J dies and not Samsung B-Die chips.

I hit the neg vote again ffs instead of positive, sorry

  • Anyone had any luck in getting a promotional credit for the cancelled orders

    • +1

Twice I’ve been told I’ll be given credit, but it never appeared.

      • Happened to me once but then I realised a S&S order had gone through and it had applied that to that order making it cheaper.

    • +4

I have, although the promo credit:
      a) takes 24 hours to appear in your account
      b) will not appear in your account balance
      c) will not show a promotion available on any items
      d) is only valid on items sold and shipped by Amazon (not warehouse, US/UK) and
      e) will only show as applied at checkout if you have spent the minimum amount it covers.

      Confused me at first too.

      • It’s usually instant for me. With (e) there is no minimum spend with the credit. It’s pretty much automatically applied to any item eligible (as per (d)) no matter if you don’t have enough promo credit or you have too much promo credit

        +1 for all that

        • I was told it would take 24 hours and while it didn't take that long, it definitely wasn't immediately available. I also tried to add something $4 but I had $6 worth of credit and it didn't show up until I doubled the quantity. Idk if there's different types of promo credit or not

      • Member @Bunsen bought one (different model).

How's it going anyway, do you still wear it?

        • A few years ago I scratched the face badly on the edge of a stone counter top then the battery ran out. It's in a box now and I CBF wearing watches at all anymore.

  • Merged from Panasonic Wet & Dry 5-Blade Shaver with Charging Station ES-LV9U-K841 $329 (RRP $699) Delivered @ Amazon AU
    Go to Deal

Price dropped to $399 on Cyber Monday. Further reduced to $329 on 06/12/22.

This is the third generation revision G (2021) from the famous Panasonic Arc 5 line-up.

You can compare all the Panasonic Arc 5 shavers from here : ShaverCheck

Since the same model without charging station LV6U costs $110 more, this is may be a price error.

5 in stock at the time of posting. Now available on back-order.

    Enjoy :)

    • Anyone know any good shaver under $100?

      • I don't know if it's good but I wanted to try Xiaomi… At the moment have a top Philips one and don't like it.

      • Aldi have one for $40. It would probably last you a year.

      • +1

OneBlade, any model as they all have the same "blade". Don't try any copycats as probably are bad. I have a Remington copycat called DuraBlade that is junk and also Shick Stylist 3 in 1 that's as good as DuraBlade.

      • Phillips 7000 series 👍

    • Review for it isnt very good. Just google the model.

      • Review may not be good if they paid $600 but at half-price it may not be as bad

        • I find that shavers is a market where quality is not directly dependant on price. I read many reviews by people praising basic Philips shavers after discarding their top of the line ones. I see Xiaomi shavers which are cheaper than Philips replacement blades…

So, in other words, price is a bit random in that market.

        • I have one with cleaning station I got from ShaverShop in August for $299 and I am not that happy with it. There are hairs that it really can't cut on the neck no matter what I do. For those I have a rotary shaver from Aldi for $19 that it's definitely better: cuts those hairs, not that close, and it's quieter.

I think I have one brand new from a deal many years ago.

This is what OzB did to me

      • +2

I’d go ahead and get a backup for the one you’re not using. That’ll teach inflation who’s boss

    • Good deal and worth taking a punt. Should also come with bonus earphones (https://au.panasonic.com.au/promotions/shaverbonus/)

      • +1

!!!! Thanks bro. I’m going to claim my “freebies”

        • +2

The listing says it will ship in 1-2 months. Since Amazon doesn't charge till the item ships, might miss the window to make the claim :(

          • @0FoxGiven: The promo has been extended by Panasonic. Now shows purchase period 01/11/2022 - 26/01/2023.

I have a previous version of the Arc5, smoothest shave from an electric I've had. I've used it every day for two years and still on my first blades. I came from Philips 9000 series, unless they've seriously upped their game Philips shavers can't hold a candle to the Panasonics.

    • No metal body, no deal.

      • Double edge blade razor still works great after all these years… metal body too.

I went back to it last year after 20+ years of fk'n around with electrics and paying $$$'s for Gillette. Took me a couple of months to get the technique right again, worth it tho.

    • gone.

      • when I posted - 2 available - got myself 1. Is it really worth @ $66?

        • didn't buy it (just went on the link as I was curious), so I really don't know. XD

    • any earphone experts - views pls.

      • +1

It says audiophile on it, so it is playing to a crowd of people who buy "audiophile stuff".

$66 is probably the true market value, RRP is probably a scam like everything else that says audiophile on it or is advertised for audiophiles.

    • +1

the brand is GOOD. i had one before the full headphone on ear. build quality is super like a tank solid not plasticy like sony $400, sound also good

Corsair Crystal 570X RGB Mid-Tower Case, 3 RGB Fans, Tempered Glass - Mirror Black $182.05, 2 only
Seems to be a good price. Staticice shows cheapest is $255 at umart. Quick google suggests it's being discontinued, it was released in 2016 I think, but skimmed a few reviews and it seems to be highly regarded.
