          Ask for a credit.
Ive already got over $60 amazon courtesy credit from cancelled orders lol

  • Amazon releasing quite a few products today. First time I've seen the deals reach a second page.

Still nothing that's tempted me to renew my amazon prime membership though.

    • That didn't last long

    • +2

Also, you're telling me you're not going to buy "Precious Moments 172007 Best Day Ever Bride & Groom Bisque Porcelain Figurine & Wedding Cake Topper, White"? Get out of here /s

    • +1

It's just become littered with blender bottles, random non food barely cheaper than new and coffee pods.

Most my Amazon orders to Tassie have been coming with Aramex/Fastway for the last couple of months, I've been buying a LOT less from Amazon due to that…

At times things will be onboard for delivery at 9am and they wont be delivered until late afternoon two days later, they're so hopeless down here…

      • Yeh i feel that ordered something 17th october and 28th and it still over in sydney or Queensland and hasnt moved !

Description has a vague reference to 10 packs.

    • Description has a vague reference to 10 packs.

I'm not seeing that. What exactly does it show you?

      • It says 200gm , so 10 packs of 20gm

Better to get it from woolies - 365gm for $5.5

        • It says 200gm , so 10 packs of 20gm

The pack is 200g. Where are you seeing 10x 20g packs?

Better to get it from woolies - 365gm for $5.5

Same price on Amazon. $4.95 with S&S.

    • +1

get it from woolies, nearly double at less price
      https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/18661?goog…

    • I don't see any vague reference

      Flavour: Mint
      Number of items: 1
      Unit count: 200 gram
      Brand: ARNOTTS BISCUITS (1023)
      Item weight: 200 Grams

      • Lol nvm, I thought the 10 X 200 in the product description was the vague reference but turns out that's the dimensions 🤦

Seriously, do they expect it to sell at that price?

Shit load of Wagon Wheels for $1.46

    • Cheers bought 4, expire end of jan
Possibly its the wrong pic so potential refund if your keen 🤣🤣🤣

      • I didn't realise haha. I made like many single quantity orders (just want to increase my order count for the lolz). Oh well. No need to complain I guess, I'll still get 190g anyway

    • -4

Delayed shippment. They added another $5 courtesy credit

    • +1

Was about to post this and you beat me to it! Bought 2 packs of this instead of Wagon Wheels lol

      • Haha, you prefer this one over wagon wheels? I think I bought the hazelnut choc spread variety before, but not this choc chip one.

Anyways, thanks - ordered a couple

        • +1

Didn't rate this and the other non filled one, felt very dry.

    • +2

No I don't rate these either. I was expecting more of a shortbread consistency but as MeesusEff said, very dry and not greatly flavoursome.

    7 available. Expiry: 25/01/23

    • +1

Bought 2 to experiment with protein pancakes

      • 2kg of coconut flour is equivalent to like 6-8kg of plain flour.

        That's a lot of pancakes!

        • +1

Its only an odd $3 for 2

        • Oh is it? Awesome, I bought some too :). Thanks for the link!

    • … What 😭

How do you know ? Can you see them crawling around ?

      Bleurgh !!!

      • See and hear them

        • Hope you took photos and complained to CS for a refund/credit…

        • what sounds do they yell?

        • +1

They are edible I googled it

          • @shap08: I always thought they could cause asthma, upset stomachs, and allergic reactions in some people. I guess in small enough quantities nearly anything is edible though.

            • @mapax:

asthma, upset stomachs, and allergic reactions in some people

That's an extremely specific list 👀

              • @Nom: There’s possibly more, they’re just the ones I remembered because my wife gets asthma, I get upset stomachs, and no one wants an allergic reaction. This was from when I was studying ag/hort 10 years ago but can’t recall much on storage these days so could be completely wrong.

          • @shap08: flour/grain mites or weevils
            ?

    • +1

      How did you notice it?

  • +1
    • too much sugar.

It says no calories on their website but on the packet it says 2 calories per piece

        • +2

In the U.S. if the serving size is under 0.5g they are allowed to round down to 0.

          • @HomeAlone: Ah good to know, thank you.

            • +2

@Tyrannosaurus Rex: I remembered it slightly wrong. If the amount of sugar per serving is under 0.5g they are allowed to round down to 0.

Found this on the Tic Tac website.

              https://www.tictac.com/us/en/faq/

Tic Tac® mints do contain sugar as listed in the ingredient statement. However, since the amount of sugar per serving (1 mint) is less than 0.5 grams, FDA labeling requirements permit the Nutrition Facts to state that there are 0 grams of sugar per serving.

edit: Orange Tic Tac is 93.3% sugar 😮

              • @HomeAlone: Yes but for 2 calories I'll risk them. At the end of the day these aren't the type of lollies that you would eat that many of, at least I don't, it's just the odd one. If you had 8 in a day I believe it's a teaspoon of sugar and since I don't even have sugar in tea/coffee and don't drink sugary drinks it isn't something that is going to bother me. It is good to be aware of though.

        • On the page you gave:

Ingredients: "SUGAR, MALTODEXTRIN, TARTARIC ACID, NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS, RICE STARCH, GUM ARABIC, MAGNESIUM STEARATE, ASCORBIC ACID, YELLOW 6, CARNAUBA WAX."

  • I'd say the wagon wheels are back but since they're more sugar I hadn't better. https://www.amazon.com.au/Arnotts-Original-Wagon-Wheels-Gram…

    • Must have been mine as Amazon just cancelled today, then re-stocked 🙄

      • I had 2 lots cancelled the other day as well. Fingers crossed these arrive.

  • Cancellations galore this morning. Clif bars x2 and Bisto gravy granules x2. This is the second time I’ve had the granules cancelled having yet to receive any. Ah well, the good with the bad! :)

Diet Coke $5.18 for 10pk in stock. Good to see that it's dropped from $6+ but not in the $4.xx range like last time I purchased. Still $1.38/l not bad.

Meanwhile Fanta 6*250ml is up to $5.79 lol.

    • 1.38/l for coke is fantastic, used to be good price around 1.76/l now I haven't seen it under 1.90/l in the shops for a long time.

      • +1

Currently $1.42/L and even less in non container redemption states (assuming special is national) with the benefit of long date + picking flavour.

Although the 10pk will get $1 in container refunds versus 10c.

        • Sorry I'm talking about the cans. I tend not to buy bottles go through them much faster lol

    • Only if you've never had real coffee.

    • If you drink International Roast, then yes.

  • Muesli bars reduced from $200 a kilo to $100 a kilo… amaazing.
    https://www.amazon.com.au/Kind-Dark-Chocolate-Nuts-Salt/dp/B…

    • Amazing value! Half of it must be solid gold or something. Well, if there weren’t clients willing to throw those money on the kind of whatever that is I am sure they wouldn’t be able to price it that way.

      • Sold out… :D

        • Too good value to resist, I guess.
