No touch screen.. even my ancient Magellan cyclo 505 has that :)
Pretty sure Garmin tried touchscreen on a couple of Edge models but the feedback from most users was that buttons work much better for these devices
Garmin Edge 830 (same size) has touch screen but is more expensive. In winter with gloves buttons are more reliable.
Unpopular opinion. Tactile buttons >>>>>> touchscr
Does this come with a speed sensor?
The inbuilt GPS will do that for ya
The Edge 5x0 series are on a 3 year cycle and the 530 is coming up to 3 years in Jan/Feb 2023 so a new model could be released any time in the next 6 months. This is a good price as I'd expect the next model to be in the $450+ range.
There is more competition now
Whole heap of odd ball goods on the Wholesale site today, doesn't appear to be anything great for me but someone might like something.
How do you track new items on the warehouse site?
Just refresh this link https://www.amazon.com.au/s?i=grocery&bbn=8415198051&dc&qid=… with F5 key.
2 Pages today. You're right, quite some balls ;)
@I Smell Pennies: Although the "Native Vanilla Grade A Tahitian Vanilla Beans" grown in Papua New Guinea (PNG) were quite a good price as long as there not dried out.
Thanks!
Noticed prices just keep sneaking up …..
Sometimes I think inflation is an excuse for companies to increase prices when no actual cost increase has occurred.
Yes agree.
Probably low quantity as previously OOS, posting here anyway.

I thought the NESTLÉ DOCELLO Plaistowe 70 Percentage Cocoa Dark Couverture Chocolate 2kg for $18.18 was good value compared to the WW 180g for $3.50

Yes but it's nearly Xmas time, so get out and enjoy suffer later :)
I think you can find cheaper than Woolies and fresher than the Amazon one. Hint: Aldi.

Merged from 7.5m Active HDMI 2.1 Cable 4K/120hz 8K/60hz $45.90 + Delivery ($0 with Prime/ $39 Spend) @ BridgeeDirect Amazon AU
Go to Deal
If you want to run 4K/120hz or 8K/60hz over HDMI over a length of more than 10 feet you need a decent cable.
Pretty much any half decent HDMI cable will do 4K @ 60hz, over distances of at least 15m.
However if you want to do 4K/120hz over 5m or more the number of cables that will do it is a lot less. Certified or not, most cables fail the 5m 4K/120hz test…Active HDMI cables are better than passive cables over longer distances if you need 4K/120hz.
For a 7.5m active cable, you'll do well to find better value. Ticket price is $54 but you get a further 15% discount automatically through the checkout.
I bought this one (2 days ago) https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B09YPRDML3/ref=ppx_yo_d…
According to Honey, it's dropped price. Honey says the one in this post has increased price recently… The one I bought isn't certified… whats the difference?
They are pretty similar - both active fibre optic HDMI cables of 7.5m length.
I thought the reviews for the Bridgee looked a little better. I have ordered the Bridgee today so I'll be able to give you an informed opinion in a few weeks.
As you say your one isn't certified. I dont know that makes a big difference. I have bought 6 other brands of "certified" passive HDMI 2.1 cables of 5m in length and NONE of them did 4K@120hz over 5m. That includes Monoprice which a lot of people on here swear by.
How can you tell if it's actually supporting 4k@120hz?
@Jamesozbargain: If you cannot tell you do not need it.
@Jamesozbargain: Well you need a display that supports 4K@120hz via HDMI 2.1 and an output that also supports it.
I have a 3080 GPU and a Sony 85X95J - both do 4K@120hz via HDMI 2.1
I just plug the cable into those 2 and set the resolution to 4K/120hz. If it doesnt work you generally get either just a black screen or you get the image but it comes on and off every few seconds or minutes.
If you dont need 4K@120hz and all you need is 4K@60hz you will be fine with most decent HDMI cables for at least 15m in length.
@TheCandyMan2020: Awesome thanks for the knowledge. My gpu and LG cs both support that resolution. In the case that the cable doesn't do what it's meant to do though is there a refund claim in there from Amazon? How can they advertise something thats not true
@Jamesozbargain: Yeah if you buy from Amazon and your cable doesn't support 4K@120hz you can return it for a full refund in the return period. If the return period has expired, go onto chat and you'll probably get them to accept a return.
Heaps and heaps of cables advertised as supporting 4K@120hz don't actually support it. They get away with it a lot of the time because the end user doesnt actually need 4K@120hz at the time they buy.
Also I found in many brands the cables of 10 foot and below work perfectly 4K@120hz, but the cables above 10 feet long don't. This includes plenty of certified cables. I think they get certification for the shorter lengths not the big ones.
I have bought 6 other brands of "certified" passive HDMI 2.1 cables of 5m in length and NONE of them did 4K@120hz over 5m.
This can be source-specific. Some devices have better HDMI outputs than others, and some of those cables probably work fine on some devices.
Have you managed to find a cable that does work with your gear ?
@Nom: Plenty under 10 foot Nom, none yet over that. All those that have failed were passive HDMI.
Hoping this will work (7.5m) as it is active rather than passive. Will let you know once I get it.

I keep seeing the tempura seaweed chips getting restocked, always 6 packs each time. However, I can't seem to add to the cart.
Is this an error or do people keep buying them before I can?
You have to add 2 drink bottles with metal spiral balls to your cart at the same time.
The Sony bundle strategy.
what?
i want it too where is the link ? cheers
Strange, with your link, I need to click on the "See all buying options", where it then says there is a minimum order quantity of 3 and has an add to cart button which adds 3 to the cart.
Then, when I remove it from the cart, it then directs me to the product page which also shows the add to cart button
Tao Kae Noi Spicy Flavour Tempura Seaweed Snack, 40 g@Broke-Ken: but that price 3.33 isnt special, right?
the original is cheaper but still normal price i think https://www.amazon.com.au/Tao-Kae-Noi-Original-Flavour/dp/B0…@CyberMurning: I don't know, but at that price, I'm not willing to order and try them out ;)
Warmfruit never mentioned a price, just that they couldn't add to cart, so that's just as far as I got.
@Broke-Ken: ah, yes i tried few times before they are good but at $3.x, too expensive
@CyberMurning: That's the fried seaweed. This is the tempura seaweed version
Strange, with your link, I need to click on the "See all buying options", where it then says there is a minimum order quantity of 3 and has an add to cart button which adds 3 to the cart.
That's because that link includes seller tag for Amazon Warehouse. Takes you directly to the cheaper prices when it's in stock from Amazon Warehouse.
@HomeAlone: My bad, thanks for the clarification.
So what is the warehouse price? now I'm interested as well :D
@Broke-Ken: $1.67 is the warehouse price when I ordered.
I randomly check the direct link for the product in question.
You'll often find that the item is in stock but not retweeted by the_grocers and sometimes its not even visible when filtering the amazon warehouse url by price low to high or in a private tab.
For example a couple of minutes ago snagged the caramel chocolates this way and also managed to grab the seaweed spicy as well a couple of days ago.
You have to be really quick with certain items.

yea it getting really old but still performs better than the RTX3050 and 1660super, bang for $ looks reasonable,
If you do want to go down the used route - you can find them from as low as $200 but they are prolly miner GPUs
Used route you can get a 3060 for about this much, will leave this one for dead when it comes to ray tracing
Any one seen any prices on a 2070 super lately just wondering what they might sell for roughly
Isn't 6600XT only for $399?

Nawww I guess promo credit can't be used with warehouse items.
Was this recent?
I recently got promo credit "that can be used on any product sold and shipped by Amazon (Au)" Can't be used for Amazon Warehouse or Amazon US/UK because they're technically a different store.
@pennypincher98: That’s correct. They’re a different ‘store’/seller, so unable to use credit there.

Merged from Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3600MHz CL16 $199 Delivered @ Amazon US via AU
Go to Deal
All time low according to camel. Same price as this deal a week ago but free International shipping. Good value for Samsung B-Die CL16 3600MHz for those who need it.
Edit: Fingers crossed that DDR4 drops even further by Christmas. Was a bit disappointed with BF this year.
Not b-die
Of course it isn't.
What 32GB kit b-die has ever been near this price?@virtual81 Reason justtoreply just replied saying that was because the op says good value for a b-die
Yeah I my mistake. I couldn't find the version number but I was sure almost all of v4.31 Corsair DDR4s are Samsung B-die. Was thinking of grabbing one and check it with Thaiphoon.
I've got a set in my pc, although i haven't run thaiphoon because it's definitely not b-die
Is this the cheapest price still? I’ve got a 420 (old red one with buttons) and looking to upgrade
