The model is called the "DUAL" cos it has two fans, nothing to do with radeon, its asus branding for their low end skus.

Bitcoin is all custom ASICs now - the spivs buying AMD cards are all Ethereum or similar miners. You can already see the cards being unloaded on ebay, going for retail prices but covered in dandruff and dirt. Lightly used! Only for gaming! By my grandma! Who played solitaire!

Yeah you should get a decent jump in performance. Of course, if you're fine with how yours is at the moment and can stand waiting you could always wait and see how the next releases go (late 2022, though let's be honest that could be pushed to 2023). Depends on how itchy you are to upgrade. What resolution do you play at?
How significant is the loss of G-Sync for FreeSync if I were to go AMD instead of NVidia? Currently using a 144Hz G-Sync monitor and looking to upgrade from a GTX 1060, so the performance boost will be significant for either card and the sync tech difference is probably going to be the biggest difference for me

From what I have read the 6700xt currently has the price and ray tracing performance of a 3060, but pretty much the rasterisation performance of a 3070. Since I don’t care about ray tracing that much it made the decision pretty easy for me, with a 170hz 1440p monitor.
