      I thought these bound a unique key so you could run something like localtuya with them and control them entirely locally?
      You would want to take precautions against anything phoning home - whether it phones home to ch-ch-ch-hchiiiina or not right?

      I'd say 80%+ cameras on the market are China based. Main thing is to never use them inside regardless of who the manufacturer is.
