Expired already ? 41 minutes
Blue still work
Updated, thanks.
I have this phone and in hindsight I would not have. Performance is pretty bad, sluggish to switch apps, everything just feels really laggy. Camera is OK at best.
By the end, the battery on my LG V30+ was trash and it's basically impossible to get it replaced these days. If I didn't have that issue with it, I'd say it's a better phone than the A53 on just about all counts. (Yeah I know the V30+ was meant to be premium-ish whereas the A53 is budget, but I thought maybe a cheap phone today could keep up with a flagship-ish phone from five years ago…? Apparently not.)
In that case except android OS no need to upgrade from my TCL Plex
Just avoid Exynos and you'll be good.
I'd recommend the 2021 4G S20 FE, or any S20 FE 5G. Or the Pixel 6a - you could trade in your A53, use 10% Ultimate gift card and $10 Perks coupon.
Isnt the google tensor chip just a rebranded Exynos?
The difference is it doesn't feel like laggy shit and might well be sharing ARM with Snapdragon. You're getting Google's flagship processor in a mid-range phone with great battery life.
The Exynos 2100 in the S21 FE feels like a mess just navigating around the OS for example. The difference between that and the S20 FE 5G I had for 6 months, or the S22 I've now had for 4, is very noticeable to me.
No , tensor is redesigned SD 888 or 870
They really dropped the ball here. Such a shame as the A52s 5G with the SD778 is an awesome phone.
yep, i have the A52s and its silky smooth for me.
This phone was on my list. Looks like I'm crossing it off now. Thanks for the feedback. Taking a hard look at the Pixel 6a now, but looking for a price closer to $600. Unfortunately, I don't have anything to trade in to get the 6a price down.
Look at the next model up. I got the A73 in the Samsung EOFY sale for under $600 - check ozbargain for the deal, inc $120 of free extras - and the performance is similar (maybe better) then my previous 4 year old flagship. Works for my needs and the camera setup is pretty good to.
The A53 was marked by most reviewers as under performing and grabbing an A52s was a better option if you can find it.
LOL I have a Samsung A53 to trade in for a 6a now! :P
If I do, it's going to feel like "renting" a mobile for a few months for $300 though. I usually tend to run my phones into the ground because I hate stuff just ending up in landfill before their time. Oh, and I hate spending money, which explains my love/hate relationship with Ozbargain.
The more you spend the more you save
Did you update to the June version? I've heard it speeds up the device.
doesnt apply to cart unfortunately
