Nope, got the 70 model, no big deal.
There is a cleaning station, if you have money to burn. You'll still need to clean the rollers/filters anyway. These things won't keep going without it.
You just press the button on te ebottom and it all fall out.
Emptying the canister is not a issue at all.Unclick remove the filter/vortex housing empty canister and tap out the vortex cone. Clicking back in takes a bit of learning.
Really quiet, get 20min on medium speeds, less than 10 on full blast.
Great on carpets/rugs/furniture with the attachment , gets cat fur out fairly well. The floor brush head is a bit useless on hard floors if you run into a cat litter crystal it's just rattles around until you crank it to full speed. Reasonably happy with it even at $369 (what I paid few months ago) battery charges rather fast too (less than an hour).
PS: it's really light!
How do stick vacuums in general compare to normal pull around vacuums? 150W vs 1000+W
Gutless for cars in my experience.
Fine for hard flooring, but you absolutely notice the difference in power. Often struggling to pick up anything even slightly bigger.
Daily cleaning is good for convenience but keep the normal pull around for deep monthly/quarter cleans.
Ah okay, makes sense that there had to be a catch. Thanks for the answers - I'll stick to my pull around that makes vacuuming a workout for now
Pull around vacuums take up space and the hassle often means you wait longer in-between cleans. During that time you're walking all over the dirt and dust and it gets pushed into the carpet. Stick vacs have less power but you don't need it because the convenience means you end up using them often. The more often you use them the less likely dirt gets trapped into the carpet and over repeated use carpet is cleaned and remain clean.
This. My wife gives the whole house a quick go over twice a week with the Jet 60 and it only takes a couple minutes, rather than getting the power vac out and having to cart it and cable all over the house.
As above. If you want sucking power (giggety) normal vacuums are much better. Used a dyson 8 and 10 and the Miele cat dog (circa 2006) left it for dead.
Cordless vacs are really, REALLY convenient though because they are a lot easier to maneuver and store. If you’re in a house I’d say get corded, apartment go cordless (I’m in the latter hence why the Miele had to go)
can't beat 240V units and most are 1800W-2400W ….. The sticks are great for quick spot cleans, windows, spill clean ups, but the weekend clean vaccum and rugs it's hard to beat my corded ……
Ordered one of these during EOFY sales, got a call 2 weeks later saying they didn't have stock and they were still awaiting stock for which they had no deadline for its arrival. Probably be cautious as you might not get it for a while
how does this compare to the Dyson v8
Well, the Dyson V8 cost almost twice as much.
Usually but I got it at the same price about a month or two ago
Man I just bought this yesterday….
Good unit. Just the battery life is not the best..
i have one. Anyone know where to get cheap battery?
Any comparison with Dreame cordless vacuums?
I replaced my Dreame v9p with the the Jet 60 Pet. No regrets. The Jet picks up things the v9p never could.
In my research it's not the power output that matters it's how effective the head is. I think at this price it blows away any Dreame/Xiaomi product within the price range.
I got mine for $400 with the Clean Station which I'm really happy with too.
Jet70 available for 509 on the same deal. Just bought one myself. 👌
I was pretty interested in getting one of these when JB had it on sale previously, however, was a bit turned off by the way you'd have to empty the dust canister. Any feedback from those who have one of these? Is emptying the cannister a bit of a messy thing?
