Tech heavyweights from Shopify, TikTok, Spotify, Linktr.ee, Culture Kings, Immutable X and Finder will be participating in the dedicated music and technology career’s festival, SOUND WEST

SOUND WEST Music + Technology Festival where technology, music, creativity and learning converge in Parramatta from August 20 to 28.

SOUND WEST will offer discovery, professional development, and networking. A destination for Australia’s biggest technology and creative brands, entrepreneurs, artists and innovators featuring keynote addresses, workshops, mentoring and performances to inspire creative people to achieve their goals.

SOUND WEST will feature over 35 keynote sessions and workshops across the two days from Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 August

SOUND WEST will come to life through Parramatta with over 15 live music events and specially curated music programming in hospitality venues from Saturday August 20 to Sunday August 28.

SOUND WEST recognises the immense talent in Western Sydney, Australian rapper Masked Wolf will kick off the live events on Saturday 20th August 2022 at Saturday Sounds x Sound West, presented by the Parramatta Eels at CommBank Stadium. The conference will feature sessions and workshops with hip hop artist and producer L-FRESH The Lion; Australian musician, singer, songwriter and rapper A.GIRL; and musician, poet and rapper NARDEAN as well as songwriters Khaled Rohaim and Styalz Fuego, and acclaimed NFT artists, Serwah Attafuah and Bianca Beers.

Music tastemakers Rolling Stone, The Brag, Complex Magazine, CADA and Triple J along with music powerhouses Warner Music, Universal Music Australia, Sony Music Australia, electronic giant NEC Australia, global concert promoter Live Nation, and community organisations ACE (Arts and Cultural Exchange) and Campbelltown Arts Centre support SOUND WEST hosting events, sessions, workshops and activations as part of a seven day festival in Western Sydney’s CBD.
